OOC: So i'm just gonna say that I study in California. Cause lolz. Thomas was getting alot of stares as he walked down the street. People seemed to mutter something about 'Trekkies' or something like that whenever he walked by. It was a little disconcerting. Judging by the readings he had obtained from his tricorder, the computer had somehow transported him to 21st century Earth. Somewhere on the Northern American continent as far as he could work out. He was at a loss of what to do now. "Oh hey, cool costume! You a Voyager fan too?" Thomas turned as a man came up behind him. He looked young, perhaps late teens or early twenties. He was smiling and looking approvingly at his uniform. "I'm Tom! Nice to meet you! Where did you get your uniform it's a really good cut. Are you at the University here? I bet you're in the Sci-Fi society right?" The man chattered in a quick, Scottish accent and thrust his hand towards Ensign Murphy and gave him an enthusiastic handshake. Murphy was a little bewildered and overwhelmed by the excitable fellow. "Uh... ye..yea I suppose that makes sense... Um... Thomas Murphy." He spluttered in a response to the smiling scot, who's expression briefly changed to reflect that of surprise. "Oh really? Thats weird. You have the same name of a character I play sometimes in a game..." He cocked his head a little as he gave Thomas a look over. "Actually... you kinda look like the avatar I chose for him... how weird is that!!" He finished excitedly as he began to walk on. Feeling like he had nowhere else to go, Murphy simply decided to tag along, especially since the eccentric Scot still seemed to be talking at him. "Have you been here long? I wasn't sure about coming to California to study, but it's been great! I've always wanted to live in America, and know I am! Sometimes I miss Scotland though. And sometimes the weather here is too hot. I find that a good 12-15 degrees is good enough..." He paused momentarily. "I'm not sure what that is in American. Hey, where are you from? Are you Californian?" Tom looked back obliviously at the confused face of Thomas as he continued walking. As Ensign Murphy stuttered through a response that he hoped wouldn't violate the Prime Directive, he was desperately hoping that someone would pick up the signal he had set his tricorder to emit on a frequency and using waves he was sure the technology of the time wouldn't be able to detect. He knew the chance was minuscule though. |

ooc: You can meet Nth! ic: By the time Janeway had heard the ridiculous story from the woman, she'd concluded she was probably insane. But that didn't explain how she knew so many details of Voyager's journey, nor the descriptions of said journey the woman showed her on the computer. But the thing that really threw Janeway for a loop was the set of boxes containing silver discs, each one with an image of Voyager on the cover, each one listing various events that had actually happened. She was definitely getting a migraine. "All right, so we're fictional characters in this universe. That doesn't matter right now. How do I find the rest of my crew and return to the proper timeline?" The woman, who had introduced herself as Phantom, chewed her lip. "We could try the board. If others are here, they're probably showing up next to the people who play them. If it's like last time, though, the original characters are invisible to anybody who isn't familiar with the board." |

OOC: I'm using a name here, but it's not mine... it's my favorite singer's name, lol. BIC: What the heck had Seven walked into? How had she gotten wherever she was? As the former drone listened to the redheaded soprano shriek, a stray thought entered her mind: The Doctor would undoubtedly enjoy this, seeing as it is operatic in nature. Putting that out of her mind, she once again looked around the dark theatre as she tried to ignore the sounds coming from the stage. Seven had appeared in the left side of the auditorium and spotted a door along the side of the wall that had the word ‘EXIT’ overtop. Standing, she made her way over to the door and paid no attention to the man who had spoken to her earlier and was doing so again, commanding her to stay put and not be disruptive. The scene on stage had shifted to dancing slave girls and an angry woman with a cane, and Seven was all too glad to get away from the entire thing. The door led the blonde woman to a hallway and she immediately saw another door to her right. It was marked ‘BACKSTAGE’, which bothered Seven – would more shrill sopranos lie behind the door? – but there seemed to be nowhere else to go. Squaring her jaw, Seven braced herself and opened the door. The backstage area was dark, with the only lights permeating the area coming from the stage. Massive set pieces crowded the area: a two-way mirror, a king’s throne, an organ, an upright piano, and, it seemed, a massive crypt. On stage, the singing picked up again and the scene continued until the music stopped. A short section of dialogue followed before the soprano began to sing again. A light went off in Seven’s mind as she recognized the song and began to realize what she had walked into; seconds later, her hypothesis was confirmed as there was a loud crash on stage and members of the chorus began to sing about the phantom of the opera. The soprano threw a tantrum and stormed off stage right and into the backstage area, where she collided headfirst into Seven. The woman had started yelling angrily in Italian before leaving the stage and flipped back into English as soon as she encountered Seven. “Shit, I’m sorry”, she said, dropping the diva attitude immediately and moving towards the makeup area. Seconds later, she stopped and turned around. “Wait a sec… holy shit, you’re Seven of Nine… how did you… what are you doing here? I mean… you’re awesome, I love you, ha, so please don’t assimilate me, but, what are you doing here?”. A woman dressed in black approached both of them and began taking clothes off the redhead’s body. “You’re not cast and crew; you can’t be back here”, she said to Seven, to which the soprano raised her hand. “She’s fine”, she said, turning back to Seven while the woman in black began to put a different outfit on her. “I’m Joyce… and I’m guessing you’ve encountered some sort of anomaly”, she said. |

Dr. Drone was drenched in tears. The last time he was writing on the Voyager forums, he and his fellow RPG players brought forth their characters from the game into the real world. Now his doctor was asking him to write to get over the incident and put it behind him. He knew deep down inside that this was the last thing he should be doing. He could already sense that the barrier between reality and fantasy has ruptured. The others have probably breached this thin veil. "No...No! Don't make me write!" |

This 'Video' as Jason had called it was rapidly helping Scott to catch up on Voyager's missions in the Delta Quadrant in a new way- it was as if he was actually there! He was even able to place the epitoads, why they seemed to be named after frogs he wasn't sure, to the mission logs he had seen. Jason's padd soon ran out of battery (whatever that was) and he had to go up to re-energise it. Jason also said he had a theory about why Scott was here, so he invited him up. Scott watched as Jason activated the brass lever that opened the wooden door. It swung against the wall. Across the door and leaning against the wall was a large oak wardrobe, on top of it was a small flag. Scott didn't recognize it at first but when he saw the words 'Californian Republic' he thought back to the place on Earth... Of course! It had been a Republic for a short time- was he in the USA then? As he took a further step into the room he realised it wasn't the only flag. The whole room was full of them! "I collect them." Said Jason as he looked at Scott's reaction with some amusement. He gestured to the Californian one, "California was a separate country for a few days back in the 19th century." Next to the wardrobe there was a structure containing 6 baskets, this was where a lot of the flags were. "The Union Flag." Jason continued whilst pointing at the flag that he would have called the 'Union Jack.' "Luxembourg, Lichtenstein, Wales" the list went on. Jason pointed to the ones suspended above the bed, which was right as you walked into the room. "Switzerland and a couple of Swiss provinces, Spain, Catalonia and the Isle of Man." Scott carried on looking around the room, the flag collection was impressive but he also noticed several geological pieces as well. "You've been to all these places?" "Not all of them, but a lot of them. Others have been gives to me by friends and family who've been to other places. Anyway." They carried on around the corner of the bed. "So what's your..." Scott trailed off. I front of him were two monitors and all sorts of stuff that he didn't recognise. One was on top of a chest of draws and the other was on a desk to the right of the baskets with the flags. The next thing that Scott saw the mess, there was stuff everywhere! Some of it was clothing, some of it was old fashioned books but then there were wires and loads of circuit boards. "Don't touch them." Warned Jason. "That's RAM- if you touch it then you could break it." Scott read the numbers on the packages. "2GBs?" That's nothing! My toaster has more than that!" Jason smiled at his outburst, "Welcome to the 21st century... The PC has 4GB and the mac has 2.2GB. I have another one in the attic with just 1mb of RAM." He sat down in the well worn black office chair that had previously been in the centre of the room. He turned around to the white, late 2006 iMac and hit a button on the dell mouse plugged into it. The screen burst into colour as it activated. Scott walked over to it in wonder. His watch had more power than this computer... "Hello Computer?" "Try the mouse?" Jason asked. Scott picked up the black and grey device. it seemed out of place with both the computer and the... whatever it was with buttons on, which were both white. He moved it to his lips held one of the buttons down. A bright red light shone in his eyes causing him to yelp and drop it. Jason laughed, he'd tried to warn him but had been too late... He took back control of the computer and was soon on safari and typing in the usual 'voyager-rpg.net.' The blue coloured forums popped up. He turned the chair over to Scott. "There's my theory..." OOC: Well that was longer than expected... lol... Edited by Scott Archer, Apr 28 2015, 10:26 AM.

ooc: Nice descriptions, Scott! ic: Phantom swiveled back and forth in her chair while she and Janeway stared at the message board and waited for anybody to reply. "You're telling me that you and a group of other people in this time period are controlling the lives of my crew through that." Janeway pointed at the teal screen topped by a schematic of Voyager, a schematic that had no business existing in the 21st century. Phantom nodded. "Pretty much." She glanced sidelong at Janeway. "We thought the connection to your reality had been severed after the last incident. Sorry for, uh...some of the stuff we've put you through." Janeway folded her arms. "Just how much of our experiences are your fault? Did you strand us in the Delta Quadrant?" "Oh, no. That was the TV show writers. The, uh, the people who made the program we all watched that inspired us to start making up our own stories about you." "How do we know that show isn't the thing that brought us here?" "Well, it...sort of ended several years ago. With you returning to the Alpha Quadrant." Janeway's heart started to race. If this meant what she thought it meant, they might have stumbled into the perfect solution to the Dominion problem. "They just dropped us off in the middle of a war zone and stopped writing?" "Uh..." Phantom's face had now turned scarlet. "Not exactly." |

If there were anyone left on board, they would have seen harry going from deck to deck scouring the ship for any sign of life. "Where has everyone gone?" His heart was pounding. Harry never realized how much company meant to him until now. He tapped his comm badge. Harry Kim to anyone on board Voyager. Is anyone still on the ship? Hello?
