OC: Oh dear. This will prove very interesting, especially with this crews history. Anyway... BIC: Sooting Harry a bewildered look, Chakotay heads to the Ready Room to confer with the captain. |

Harry recognized his own silliness and smiled weakly at Kira. "Well, it's gone to warp now! And I think Icheb was inside it, with Tarik Ayala." |

Icheb was on the Delta Flyer, now a few parsecs from Voyager pursuing Captain Caffeine Monger's vessel. "I've plotted a pursuit course," Icheb said, focusing on the console in front of him and then turning to face Tarik when he was done. "Thanks for helping me, Tarik. I really appreciate it. The captain didn't look too happy when I caused her to not get that coffee (ooc: thanks to Harry!). I just need to undo the damage I've done." |

A few minutes later, Kira arrived at Lt. Rezit's quarters and rang the buzzer. "Enter" he responded, and she walked in. "Computer, activate yichud cam, authorization Rezit Omega 613." LCARSbeeped in compliance. OOC: Come on, Kira, ask the obvious questions... *waiting desperately*

OOC: Thanks, but actually, that wasn't what I had in mind
As I explain in my profile, yichud is the prohibition against being in a room alone with a member of the only gender, due to possible, err, outcomes. However, if it's not really private, i.e. someone can walk in at anytime, etc. then it's fine, because they'll be embarrassed to do anything. Basically, I have a camera on my comm badge which is activated in scenarios like this, when I have to be alone. Some miscellaneous crew member is watching the feed, so it essentially accomplishes th same thing. Anyway, we're assuming that Kira already knows this, with this probably not being my first session. You're too far off, though, Commander, I had to install an actual camera in the Ready Room since I'm in there so often, so who knows when I can tap into it
Not that I would, of course. Oh, and to ensure privacy, it's video only, and faces are automatically blurred.BIC: "Thanks for coming." *Motions to seat across from the table* "I guess I"m just feeling very depressed. We just went through the High Holidays again, and, well, I wasn't home, I wasn't with my family, and I just feel terrible about it." OOC: Read what I wrote in "High Holidays" in the Time Off forum to get a better idea of what I mean. And just play with it. I have a humorous resort, if need be. Or Icheb and the Captain can take care of that. :P |

ooc: Ah I see. I think that with my brother's wedding coming up I was thinking that you were using this Yichud Cam of yours to act as a shomer of sorts....But yes. Anyway. bic: "Kathryn, I understand, and if we are lucky, he will manage to get you some coffee, and then you can scold him. But for now would you like some tea?" |

OOC: I am using it as a shomer, but for me, not to spy. Well, maybe in a future story...

"I understand." Kira began with a warm smile. "It would seem we have been faced with a great challenge." She turned and faced the window, which gave a view of that mysterious darkness which had grown so familiar so soon. "Whatever, or whoever sent us out here did it for a reason. We're here to become better people, to learn, and to ultimately bring what we have home with us. I understand your spirituality, and I can relate to it. On Bajor, when I was young I would celebrate my own spiritual holidays with my family. After the majority of my family had died, I clung to whatever was left and continued to follow my faith." Kira returned her gaze to the lieutenant. "That's what we have to do. We have to stick with each other; we're all family now, brought together by this spontaneous and yet amazing act from above... Perhaps if you need to celebrate it with family, let everyone know and we shall celebrate it with you." Kira's hand had inadvertantly reached to her earring which she wore with such spirituality. She felt reassured as she fingered the careful beading, and intricate chain which had been blessed by the very prophets of Bajor during her cultural regeneration not long ago. She felt associated with everyone on this ship now, and she hoped she could guide Lt. Rezit to feel the same way. |

OOC: ??? Why that? I thought we had a good group counseling going on and no need for a side-story within the counseling. Come back Itchy and let Kira and the rest of the merciless crew analyze your mind!
