| Welcome to the Star Trek: Voyager message board RPG! We're a small, laid-back RPG that's been around since May 2005. You can read and enjoy our stories as a guest, but we'd love it if you joined and participated too. If you'd like to join, read this thread about how to get started and follow the steps in the first post. We hope to see you around the boards! |

"No, Captain, we haven't got anything like that. But I remember B'Elanna mentioning something about reset buttons in ancient games and even computer systems from the 20th century Tom loves to play. The way she describes it is that you have a system - could be a game, an application, whatever in electronical means - that can be modified and edited and if you don't like it, you can push this reset button and everything will be set back to the initial values like nothing ever had happened." He mused. "So does that means we are just software subroutines? And what would that leave the Doctor? He would be a subroutine emulating a subroutine made out of a subroutine which emulates subroutines?" Breaks up confused. "But on another idea, couldn't we just find the Caretaker Reset Button, push it and be right back at the Alpha Quadrant?" |

"Hmm... I suppose it's possible... Perhaps we can just find the B&B button and reset that. Maybe that way we won't seem like the various Enterprises every other month. |

There was a long, blank stare at Chaim. "What?" ooc: You shouldn't know who B&B are, or about the various Enterprises, or monthly episodes, etc. Remember, though this is housecleaning, it's still in character. Weird circumstances, same characters. |

ooc: Oh, I know that... . bic: "Here, look at this." He had been browsing some weird concept called "links" and had clicked on the one that said "Producers." "Some people apparently didn't like the way these people wrote us, I mean them, I mean... oh, I'm so confused!" |

Harry had been rolling all around the ship and ending up on the bridge, rolled right into the captain's chair with a big CRASH! and knocked the chair over. Harry's eyes widened at what he had uncovered: a BIG red button! Alternate Reality Harry to the captain, I think I found something here!

OOC: rofl good ol' housecleaning. BIC: Ayala searched himself and after reading the first line yelled, "I'm only a bloody background character?!?!" Ayala's head fell and he started weeping, "Captain.... I need a cliff, or a bridge. Just as long as it's high up with a hard bottom." |

OOC: You see me ROFLing here Harry. C. Love, haha. BIC: "All this must be a collective nightmare," Tuvok concluded (or shall we better say grasped after last chances to save his sanity), "We can't be produced. All of you-" he looked around gravely - "could be, but not me. I'm Vulcan. I'm logical. And logic can NOT be produced. It only can be achieved by many years of study and self-discipline. These Wikipedia entries here do not look like that so-called Star Trek Universe was made by anyone with the slightest amount of logic in his brains." He gasped! Yes, Tuvok gasped in shock while he was reading another entry: "It says my pointy ears are just molded plastic and that they have been auctioned off several hundred years ago at a place called ebay!" Grabbing his ears he began pulling on them and turned to Harry. "What was that about the big red button again?" |

"Maybe we're not fictional, but these people somehow saw the future?" Suddenly she registered what Harry had said. "Wait. Ensign, you found the button? Where is it?" |

It's a big, red button, Tuvok and Captain. It says 'RESET' on it. It was underneath your Command Chair all this time! Come on up here! Take a look. ![]() Harry looked closer at the button. It was luminous and with smaller writing underneath the word 'RESET' which he could not decipher. |

ooc: Yeah, for $811 + shipping. Auction ended yesterday
And yes, I bid on them
. BIC: Ever the Engineer, Chaim started looking for the wires that might tell them just how far back this would "reset" them. |

Ayala quickly forgot his thoughts of suicide and turned his focus to the big red button Harry was pointing to. |
