ooc: I forget, did anyone press the Big Red Button yet?

BIC: Braga burst out laughing. "Y'know, you really had us for a second there, Tim. Defend yourself! HaHaHa!" he was rolling, finding it hard to stop.

While Brannon cried tears from laughing, Tuvok leaned to Janeway and whispered in her ear:

"There definitely is something wrong here, Captain."

He stole at meaningful glance towards his hand still resting on the phaser:

"That is not a real phaser. That is an empty imitation or prop. I have no idea when it was replaced."

Logical, sober, well-shaved and unbearably reasonable. Commander Tuvok ready to enervate you!

ooc: Yes, I pressed the button a while back preceding events of the dismantling of the bridge and the appearance of the production crew of ST:V.

"Ummm," Harry said staring at one of the girls shoving a pen and photograph to his face. "What's an autograph?"

"I don't think we're going to get any answers from these two. Let's head back." Janeway smiled at the two men. "Sorry for taking up your time."

As they left the room, leaving a bewildered Brannon behind, a handful girls rushed up and screamed excitedly.

"Tim! Tim!" the shouted, "Sing for us! Give us Kushangza!"

One of the girls clasped Tuvok's arm.

For the first time in years, the Captain could detect an almost helpless expression in Tuvok's. As he had enjoyed the presence of Tom Paris for a long time now, this was the only moment in history where the old Vulcan was expected to remark, "What the...", but he just opened his mouth like a goldfish and closed it again.

Then turned to the Captain.

Chaim was confused. While there were people running around, trying to get his fellow shipmates to give them "autographs" which, for some reason, seemed to have nothing to do with car diagrams, they seemed to be ignoring him completely. "Umm, excuse me?" he turned to one, who just ignored him. Chaim walked over to him and waved his hand in front of the other's eyes. "Excuse me, do you mind telling me what..." he stopped short as the teenager just walked away. Then it hit him He can't see me!!

ooc: :P That's what happens to us OC's

ooc: ROFLMAO

and I love that they can't see the OCs.

ic: Apparently in whatever dimension they'd landed in this time, her name was Kate and Tuvok's was Tim. Janeway was annoyed, she hadn't been called Katie since she was a little girl, and "Kate" had only been used by one particular elementary school teacher that she'd hated.

She gently guided the fanatical girls away from the perplexed Tuvok. "Tim isn't feeling well right now, why don't you come back later?"

"Thank you, Captain," Tuvok stammered, and admitting that he ran out of ideas: "I have to say that I don't know what is going on here."

"Why is all this happening?" Harry muttered under his breath and as if on cue, a short, be-freckled girl with long brown hair pulled into a pony-tail held out a magazine called PEOPLE Magazine with his face on it and with the words 'America's 50 Most Beautiful People.'

Oh, no! he thought. It's worse than I imagined!

" Chaim," he called out discreetly to the engineer. "We must have traveled back to the past and altered history somehow."

Janeway and Tuvok re-entered the bridge just in time to see the magazine with its boldly printed caption. There was a pause where she thought about commenting, then decided against it. "Have you learned anything new?"

"I'm not sure... the only thing I can tell is that we appear to be, well, well-liked here, except for me who no one can see. I don't understand it, Captain, but I'm starting to wonder if this has anything to do with that BRB we saw earlier..."

"We just spoke with them, and they seem to think we're these other people as much as anyone else. What do you mean, no one can see you?"

He threw up his hands. "Just that! I'm walking around, and suddenly I realized that no one could see me! Just like that!" He stopped, suddenly turning serious. "Please, tell me the truth, Captain. Am I going mad?"

"Not unless we all are." Janeway looked around. "There has to be a way for us to figure out where we are."
