"1999?"

Harry's eyes beamed so brightly it was unbelievable.

"Captain, your ancestor, Molly Shannon. The Millennium Gate. We can meet your ancestor at the Millennium Gate! That's great!"

"Harry... stop talking." When all of this was over, they'd have to see if they could get a different version of him to appear. What would this be, the fourth one in two days? That was a new record.

"But captain," Harry said, barely containing his excitement. "It's Molly Shannon, your ancestor! Hello? The Millennium Gate!"

He flashed Janeway the dorkiest smile ever recorded in the history dorkdom.

ic: "Harry, that's not important right now. We need to find a way to get back to our own time without interfering in this one."

Tuvok scratched his head and the looked at his hand in amazement.

"This Tim-thing seems to make me suffer my self-control, Captain. That's not a good development."

He thought again.

"If all that we've seen on that Wikipedia is the result of some writers, could we not be written back into our own time-frame as well? If writing changes the history, there should be a way to re-write it accordingly."

He looked queryingly at the Captain.

Logical, sober, well-shaved and unbearably reasonable. Commander Tuvok ready to enervate you!

"That sounds logial," Chaim agreed matter-of-factly. "So let's find someone who's writing." He walked over to some guy creating an inventory of the lighting equipment.

"Excuse me," he said, "can you write us home, please?"

Crestfallen after having been reprimanded for the nth time, Harry began scrutininzing the circles he was drawing with the toes of his boot.

"Gee, captain," he said with an enormous amount of resignation. "I was only expressing my thoughts. But sure, we can work on getting home to our own time if you want to. If you really, really want to. If that's what you have your mind set to. Don't let me stop you. Nosirree bob! Nope, not this ensign. You could bet your bottom gold pressed latinum. You could...what was I talking about?"

ooc: rofl, Chaim and Harry.

ic: Hoping that was the end of Harry's silly idea, Janeway wondered if it would be worth trying to speak with the men in the office again. They seemed to be in charge, and so would be the logical people to see about getting home, but at the same time they weren't exactly friendly. She paused for a moment. Asking to be written home would probably violate the Prime Directive... or would it? Since these people were telling stories about them, they already knew they existed... sort of.

This was far too confusing.

As if struck by lightning, Harry jumped with a start, poking an index finger into the air and flashing a grin.

"I've got it!" he said in a Eureka sort of way. "We need to find a way to get back to our own time without interfering in this one. It's an inspired idea. It just came to me!"

He shot a smile to Janeway then Tuvok then Chaim then Chakotay, then B'elanna then...

"Well? What's your idea?" Janeway wondered if she was going to have to use cookies to keep his attention focused. For some reason he seemed to do better in meetings when supplied with oreos.

He motioned to the man doing an inventory of the light systems.

"Chaim," he ordered. "Ask that man if he can find someone to write us home. I'm BRILLIANT. The idea just came to me. As if I just heard it!"

It was one of the rare occasions on which Tuvok could be spotted with blinking eyes while Harry spoke.

He seemed to pull himself together with effort and nodded to the Captain.

"We better go up there to these two men again who addresses us as Kate and Tim."

He looked over his shoulder back at Chaim.

"Possibly we all should stay together. Will someone take care of Mr. Kim so he does not spoil our efforts with his.... antics."

Moments later, the four were back in the strange turbo lift in the building of the two unusual men.

"Mmph! Mmph!" Harry mumbled through the adhesive tape strapped over his mouth, his hands tied behind his back.

Chaim giggled, this was too much. Since it seemed he couldn't be seen, he had volunteered to stay behind and watch their good Ensign. A bad idea, as it turned out. He wasn't security for a very, very good reason.

"So, Harry, what was your big idea?" he asked, bored.
