Janeway entered engineering and circled the lower floor, keeping her back to the wall to avoid being surprised. |

On the other side of the warp core, Chaim heard someone enter. He crouched down, peeking out to see who it was. |

ooc: Weren't you just on the bridge? ic: Janeway thought she saw movement on the other side of the warp core, and she ducked behind a diagnostic console. |

Kira slipped ever so silently around a bulkhead, scanning the area for any possible targets. Her rifle was pressed tightly to her chest, all muscles tensed, ready to unload on an unsuspecting- *BAM* A ball exploded against the wall next to her, coming from the direction in which she had been watching so cautiously. She smiled and couldn't help but laugh as she tucked and rolled across the hallway, briefly pausing in the middle to fire on her attacker. She arrived safely at the other bulkhead. And I thought my Maquis training would be outdated, she laughed as she smiled to herself. Once again she lowered, positioning herself like a hunter stalking it's prey... |

Quincy was just sitting by himself on the bridge. The computer had already gone through classics such as "I love Him," "Sweet Home Alabama," "Walking in Memphis," and "Who wrote the book of love," Gosh, he really loved all those oldies. When this game was over he would need to replicate a device to play music that he could carry around. Maybe he would talk to Chaim or Harry about an appropriate device. Until then he would just sit there and wait until the opportune moment arose. |

She heard the blam and saw paint splatter on the bulkhead in front of her. Judging from where it was, the other person had to have leaned to the left of the warp core. She listened for footsteps. Assuming he didn't move, she should be able to hit him. |

Chaim waited a moment, then stood and fired another spread. |

Before he crouched down again, Janeway leaned to one side of the console and fired quickly, right to where she thought he was. |

A yellow paintball grazed the top of his uniform, enough to leave a mark, although it was barely noticeable. But now he knew where his "assailant" was. He marked the coordinates and fired. |

Janeway barely ducked back behind the console in time to avoid a shot to the face. As the paintball exploded against the opposite bulkhead, some of the paint splattered on her uniform. She needed a better position to be able to shoot, so she darted across the walkway to the opposite side of the room. |

Hearing the rapid footsteps, Rezit stood up and fired at will. He paused for a moment as he saw that he was actually firing at Captain Janeway! |

Janeway was hit in the shoulder and side with splattering balls of paint, but as she recognized Lt. Rezit, he froze for an instant. That was all she needed. She fired several of the little orbs straight in his direction. |

Being hit with two paintballs snapped him out of his reverie, and he dodged the next two. He also thought that, hey, if this was her idea, he was going to play it out. He cocked, aimed, and fired- right before he ducked and made a dash for the ladder to the upper level. |
