"Ooh, a new one!" Q shouted out in his child-like manner, his anger temporarily forgotten. "I don't believe we've been formally introduced. You may call me Q," he gave an elaborate bow. "And who might you be?"

"You are the all powerful one you tell me."
"So... I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But the most damning thing of all... I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again, I would. Garak was right about one thing, a guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha Quadrant. So I will learn to live with it. Because I can live with it. I can live with it... Computer, erase that entire personal log."

B'Elanna groaned. This was going to be a long long day. She glaced at Q Jr. He seemed.... scared.
(While Tom watches tv)
Torres: It was pretty boring, until Ensign Farley started snoring and then no one could keep a straight face. Of course, the Doctor wasn't at all amused.
Paris: Oo! Hockey!
Torres: It was a shame that we had to cut the lecture short, but the warp core overloaded and then the Borg invaded and we were all assimilated.
Paris: Ah ha.
Torres: You haven't heard a single thing I've said, have you?

ooc: Rofl! Q's been dumbfounded! :p

ic: NPC Q
Q crossed his arms and made the puckered-lip pout that was so often elicited from him by these Starfleet types. He couldn't let himself be bested by an ensign! "Of course I do. I just want you to tell me."

OCC: Now that's power, being able to dumbfound Q.
BIC:

"why? So you can make sure? It's understandable if you get a name or two mixed up."

"Why would you think that the name of a cranky, pubescent recruit would matter to me? You're just an imp of a human anyway."

He turned away in anger, forgetting that his son was there.

"What am I even doing here? This is ridiculous...Jean-Luc would never treat us so rudely. Come on, son, we're going to see him instead of this ungrateful lot."

The two disappeared with a snap of Q's fingers. Seconds later, Q2 reappered and said "You guys have got to help me, he's certifiable! I cannot spend the rest of eternity with him being like this to me all the time! I'm almost 2100, he's got to stop treating me like a child!" He checked himself for a moment, then said "Oay, well for you guys I'm like 4, but still! I'm no child!"

Janeway sighed. She'd temporarily let her hopes rise that they actually were going to bother someone else. While she would normally never wish inconvenience upon another Starfleet Captain, when it came to Q all bets were off. Unfortunately, it seemed like today it was her turn to deal with them. "What exactly do you want?"

"Asylum!" Q2 was only too eager to exclaim. "Grant me asylum, Aunt Kathy, and I'll do whatever you want. Just don't make me go back there!"

Oh, you have got to be kidding me... "Asylum is reserved for when someone's life or personal safety is threatened, not when they're having fights with their parents."

Q looked away in disgust. "See what I have to deal with, Kath? He thinks that just because he wants something he can just drop in and take..." he trailed off, realizing his mistake.

ooc: C'mon, someone- Jump on it!

ooc: Chaim, I'm guessing you made papa Q reappear as well? :D

BIC:

"He wants me to be Messiah," he answered before he realized he just answered the question of a lowly insubordinate human. But he was desperate now; his need to leave the Continuum transcended the hurt to his ego. "I'm supposed to lead my people to some sort of...," he searched for the right word, "...SALVATION!"

Janeway had been about to deliver a scathing wound to Q's sense of self-importance and point out that he, too, had the unpleasant habit of dropping in whenever he so pleased, but the look on his face said that she didn't need to. Internally savoring the small triumph, she listened as Q2 explained his dilemma. "Those are pretty high expectations." She looked over at Q. "Even for an omnipotent being."
