Tom turned the ship accordingly and moved quickly to the escaping shuttle, speeding up in the process.

OCC: I assume we want to disable the ship? Also it is a shuttle, not an escape pod.

"So... I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But the most damning thing of all... I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again, I would. Garak was right about one thing, a guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha Quadrant. So I will learn to live with it. Because I can live with it. I can live with it... Computer, erase that entire personal log."

ooc: You guys have a lot of freedom as to what you do here, so try things and see what happens. :)

ic: The shuttle, apparently detecting the Delta Flyer, abruptly shifted course. Its new path took it closer to Voyager, so perhaps the bounty hunters were hoping to use the larger ship to evade their pursuers.

David watched the shuttle move towards Voyager. "That ship isn't large enough to get here by itself...hang on." David said, looking at the ship then at the sensors. "Gunter you said that there was something near the moon right?" "Yes I did." She replied. "Ok then. We aren't that far from the moon, still in weapons range. I am going to fire a few torpedoes at the moon and see what happens. Keep us on course with the shuttle" David replied. He hit a few buttons and four photonic torpedoes flew back to the moon, following the telemetry they found earlier. :comm: Voyager, can you get a lock with the tractor beam? Or hit them with phasers? If not I have two torpedoes ready to launch. They aren't locked on to anything yet. :comm:

The torpedoes flew toward the moon, zeroing in on the target Trianna had detected earlier. Apparently disturbed from its hiding place by the attack, a medium-sized ship, about a fourth the size of Voyager, darted out from behind the moon, attempting to shake the torpedoes tracking it.

:comm: Working on it, Cohen. For some reason, the tractor beam won't lock onto them, and they're flying too erratically to hit with phasers. :comm: Janeway paused as Voyager fired again at the enemy shuttle and missed. :comm: I don't like this, Lieutenant. They're up to something. Do whatever you can to stop them. :comm:

:comm: I don't like this either. It looks like we rattled the nest. I've got a medium sized craft leaving the dark side of the moon I am going to engage that. Try to take out the weapons and engines. :comm: "Sorry about this Tom but take us back to the moon" The torpedoes they sent out hit the shields in a brilliant flash. "Shields are still holding. Not by much through." David said, reading out the tactical report. I've got two torps left. I should save them David though to himself. "Tom bring us into phaser range of the ship. As close as you can get. I want to make it as hard as possible for them to get a weapons lock." Shortly after that the Flyer was right up to the ship. It was a sleek design, almost like a teardrop with the engines extending from the large end and the bridge in the front. It was also armed with multiple phaser banks. "Hold on this is going to get fun. Firing phasers" By this point the Flyer was so close they could see the people looking out at them from the windows on the ship. The ship started to loose shields, but it wasn't able to track them with it's weapons. As the Flyer got closer to the engines, David fired again and was rewarded with the sight of flames leaping out into space and secondary explosions ripple through the end of the ship. As the explosions progressed more pillars of fire burst forth from the ship, a telltale sign of sections loosing their oxygen. Luckily the scanners didn't detect anyone getting killed. The Flyer pulled away from the burning ship as it's lights flickered but remained steady. "That seemed a little to easy." David said. :comm: Attention alien ship. This is Lt. Cohen of the Federation ship Delta Flyer. Order you shuttle to stand down or we will start to open fire again. :comm: :comm: Flyer to Voyager, the ship appears to be disabled. Requesting you send a shuttle with a boarding party over here. Approach with caution though because it seems a little too easy taking down this ship :comm:

Before Janeway could respond, the alien ship replied to David's instructions. :comm: Never, Federations! We'll have you, or we'll die! :comm:

David gave a sigh. He then fired the phasers at the ship, causing more explosions. The lights flickered then died, the ship started to drift. "Lock on to the bridge and start beaming them to the back of the Flyer and put up a level 10 forcefield around them." He said to Gunther. :comm: Voyager this is the Flyer. Their ship is without power and adrift as far as we can tell. I'm beaming the bridge crew to the back of the Flyer and erecting a forcefield around that area. He paused, looking over the data the others had pulled up "It looks like we won't have to worry about the ship crashing into the moon, we are far enough away so we aren't affected by the gravitational pull of it.:comm: He then opened a channel to the shuttle. :comm: Unknown shuttle, this is the Delta Flyer. We have disabled your mother ship and taken the bridge crew. He paused again, carefully thinking over what to say next. You attacked my away team, injured my officers, and put innocent kids in danger so I'm not in a good mood. I'm going to assume that this ship is your employer's. Unless you stand down I will space this bridge crew and you won't get paid. :comm: David just hoped they wouldn't call his bluff. He saw the shocked looks of the Flyer crew. "You were bluffing right sir?" Asked Montero, a hint of fear in his voice. David didn't reply for a few moments. He took a phaser and went to the back of the Flyer. "Ok who here is in charge?"
"So... I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But the most damning thing of all... I think I can live with it. The aliens facing David from the back of the shuttle didn't look familiar. They were humanoid, but enormously bulky, to the point that only two of them could stand abreast in the hold. There were five of them there, and one began muscling his way to the front of the group. "Move it!" he hollered to the ones in his way. They did their best, but given their size, it took several seconds before the man stood facing David. He raised a voluminous arm up to his chin in a strange kind of salute, then spoke. "I'm in charge. Who are you supposed to be?"

The bounty hunters' shuttle wove in a few more circles beneath Voyager, then abruptly shut down its engines and began drifting. Voyager immediately seized them in a tractor beam.

"I'm the one who your mercenaries tried to kill. I'm also the one who disabled you ship and I'm the one who may throw all of you out the nearest airlock if you don't answer my questions." He gave the alien a cold stare. "First off who are you and why are you after us?"

"Hah!" laughed the man. "We've heard about you. You wouldn't kill us. But you beat us fair and square, so I don't mind talking to you. I'm Pish, and we were hired to find you and get you. We figured someone with a less obvious build would be able to do it better, so we hired those other two to get you for us. I guess they screwed it up."

Pish laughed. "Who didn't? We were going to have an auction once we finished the job. The first offer was from the Hirogen, but they were outbid pretty fast. You want the full list? It's on the computer."

:comm: Robinson, access the ships computer. There is a list of people who bid for our capture. Send it to Voyager :comm: "I'm sure the rest of Voyager will be as humbled by this as I am." David replied dryly. "So what will happen to you since you didn't capture us?"

He shrugged. "We won't get paid. We're good enough to avoid any other problems, I think." He eyed David. "You people are good. Are you interested in taking a few jobs? We contract out all of the assignments we get. With your technology, you could make a fortune!"
