She backed up a few steps and then turned, crossing the entire cavern with David on her heels. Once there, she crossed her arms, leaned on the wall, and pasted a curious half-grin on her face to fool the adolescent aliens while they were out of earshot. Her tone, however, was one of concern. "Lieutenant Torres... 'Aunt Miral' ..." She said, making quotation marks with her fingers, "And Harry, whatever we're calling him now, aren't back and Larson is missing. We should probably be keeping in better touch. The mission's already gone wrong because we've been seen here. I know they went to find orange uniforms, but they should have been back already. Do I need to go find them?" |

Voices began to carry down the cave to where Krys, David, and the rest of the film crew were. "They must be here somewhere!" Gero snarled. "M...maybe they found another way out," Hoagie suggested timidly. "Shut up." "Okay." |

"Uh Oh, look's like time's up." Krys waved at the kids and quickly but calmly motioned for them to move to this side of the large room. She turned back and whispered to David, "I might be able to phase around them," She placed a hand on the cavern wall, "but it feels like there's a whole lot of organic matter growing in between the rocks. I might not be able to get through. I can't tell until I try, but I cant try in front of the kids." |

David looked around then at her. "No and that's an order. Torres 'auntie' for you 'wife for me, Harry, I think he was my son which makes him your cousin or sister or whatever you want him to be to you- are gone and Larson must have gone with them. That is three people missing, for all we know down. Two of them are bridge officers. That puts me in charge. This mission has already gone south and I am not loosing anyone else." David shook his head. "Trust me I want to go back as much as you do, but we can't we just can't. I'm so sorry, so, so sorry but we just can't. Once we figure this out then and only then will we go back for the others. Besides I have an idea. Those kids have the ability to project images. Let's say that as we go on with the story, we have an army of evil minions. Really fierce, scary, tough minions just like the Borg. We somehow manage to time it so that when the guys in orange come down, they see this massive army waiting for them. It may just be believable enough to them so that they flee. If not then set phasers to maximum stun. If they are still going then set to kill. We have to be very accurate with the shots. One wrong miss and we could bring the entire cave down on us. " |
"So... I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But the most damning thing of all... I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again, I would. Garak was right about one thing, a guilty conscience is a small price to pay for the safety of the Alpha Quadrant. So I will learn to live with it. Because I can live with it. I can live with it... Computer, erase that entire personal log."

ooc: Excellent strategizing, everyone! Keep it up! Location Check Deep in the caves: David, Krys, Hish, the teenagers Higher in the caves: Harry, B'Elanna, Jack Between them: Gero, Hoagie ic: "Hey, what's that?" Daki asked, pointing in the direction of the sound. "I don't know," Renalia said. The two voices grew louder, but it seemed the cave distorted sound. Though they sounded far away, Hoagie and Gero suddenly appeared around the corner. The Starfleet officers' flashlights lit up their orange armor. "Oh!" Pordin gasped, but then broke into a grin. "Okay, I take it back. You guys can project Singularity. He's perfect! Hey, make him say something!" Gero drew his weapon and pointed it at the group. "Everybody on the ground!" Daki nodded. "Nice!" |

Hoagie shrieked and ducked, but Gero caught the phaser blast on his chest. "Hahaha!" he cackled, brandishing his oversized phaser rifle. "You cannot incapacitate me! Now surrender your weapons!" |

Harry, Jack and B'elanna raced after the strange duo. They reminded the young ensign of two characters on a television show Tom and he were watching one time when B'elanna was away on an away mission. But as funny as Laurel and Hardy were, these two were the exact opposite and meant business! "BLT," Harry quipped affectionately, "Any Maquis tricks up your sleeves?" ooc: from my understanding, Jack is Starfleet and not Maquis, right? |

Krys darted over to the teenagers and wrapped her arms around Renalia and Pordin. She manually shoved them behind an outcropping of rocks and barked "Daki, get down!!" When Daki ducked, Krys also raised the setting of her phaser and took aim, firing a shot at Hoagie. |

ooc: Most likely. Feel free to come running!ic: David's phaser shot impacted like the first one, but instead of simply disappearing against the armor, it sizzled across what appeared to be a personal forcefield. "Hah!" Gero taunted. "Is that the best you can do? Even your most powerful shot just barely scratched my field's power!" Hoagie, meanwhile, shrieked and ducked as Krys shot him. Evidently he had little to no survival training, because the motion put his face right into the line of fire. Fortunately for him, it seemed the personal forcefields protected the entire body. The phaser blast impacted a few inches from his nose, dissipating down into the orange armor. Daki remained standing. "That was awesome!" Renalia jumped up. "Darn, I missed it! And Daki, stay in character!" "Oh! Right!" Angling his body and crossing his arms, Daki lifted his chin and asked, in an obnoxiously loud voice, "Who dares assault Brightstar the Sunwalker?" He pretended to peer into the darkness, then gasped. "Singularity? So it is you! I might have known!" Behind Krys, Pordin projected a man with a bizarre-looking instrument. It had three strings and two drum-like appendages, with a metal tube attached to the top. The projected man blew into the tube, plucked the strings with his hands, and banged on the drums with his feet. "Dun, dun, dun!!!" boomed the music. |

B'Elanna smiled at Harry. "You bet I have a few Maquis tricks up my sleeve. It seems to me that that evil orange uniform guy that David is shooting at has more experience and confidence than the other. Lets get him out of the picture." She eyed the cave. "I have enough room to get behind the guy. So your job is to distract him." |

(While Tom watches tv) Torres: It was pretty boring, until Ensign Farley started snoring and then no one could keep a straight face. Of course, the Doctor wasn't at all amused. Paris: Oo! Hockey! Torres: It was a shame that we had to cut the lecture short, but the warp core overloaded and then the Borg invaded and we were all assimilated. Paris: Ah ha. Torres: You haven't heard a single thing I've said, have you? | |

"I can do that," Harry said with pride, puffing out his chest. "Distraction is my middle name." The young ensign rounded the corner behind the large alien while remaining shrouded in the dark until he was about close to the front, preparing to pounce. |

Meanwhile B'Elanna began to slide slowly across the cave wall, tiptoeing so as not to make a sound. |
