Posts: 31 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: Oct 18, 2011	Base Stats: 86 HP/76 Atk/86 Def/116 Sp. Atk/56 Sp. Def/95 Spe Overview: With amazing stats, movepool and abilites, Yamega will be a top threat sweeper, his main flaw is the horrible Bug/Flying typing which takes half of it´s HP when Stealth rocks are in the field and it brings many weaknesess, but still Yanmega can kill many thing so do not understimate it. Abilites: Speed Boost: At the end of each turn Yanmega get´s a speed boost (like the name implies), maybe Yanmega is not the fastest Sweeper avaible but after a few turn it will be impossible to outspeed and maybe even kill. Tinted Lens: Doubles the power of "Not very Effective" moves, with this ability it becomes very hard to switch into Yanmega since a pokemon that usually resisted the attack will take double the damage it was supossed to take and that can get your Pokemon KOed even if it´s supossed to be a Yanmega counter. Frisk: Reveals the opponent´s hold item, just for Scouting but with proper knowledge (or just reading the info of what happens in the turn) you can infere what item you opponent is using, worthless ability and should never be used. Movesets: Speed Sweeper Yanmega @ Life Orb Timid/Modest Nature Ability: Speed Boost Evs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP Protect/Giga Drain Air Slash Hidden Power (Ground/Fire) Bug Buzz After a few turns Yanmega will be so fast not even Scarf users will outspeed to revenge kill it with excellent type coverage, Protect can help you waste turn and scout also getting more boosts but you could replace it with Giga Drain which is a good move and can provide some excellent healing because life orb will be hurting you, Air Slash has STAB and hits Fighting types specially, Hiden Power help you don´t get walled by Steels go with the type that will counter aslo things that ruin the rest of your team and last Bug Buzz is your most powerful STAB. Choice Yanmega @ Choice Sacrf/Specs Timid/Modest Nature Ability: Tinted Lens Evs: 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP Bug Buzz Air Slash Hidden Power (Ground/Fighting) U-Turn/Giga Drain With the Tinted Lens ability you don´t have to worry too much about being locked in a move, a pokemon tha tresits that move will take double Damage making Yanmega a Excellent Revenge killer since if the opponent predicts your move and switches it won´t take that hit good eneough to survive, the same moves showed previously are here and now we add U-Turn to keep your offensive momentum. Other Options: Yanmega has other offensive options: Shadow Ball, Psychich and Dream eater are the most notable, for support it can use Tailwind or Hypnosis to cripple something and last Roost can keep you healed Checks and Counters: Special Walls, specially Eviolite Chansey will wall Yanmega and will stall it out, priority can KO Yanmega even if it has many Speed Boosts already and Stealth Rocks will take away 50% of your HP so watch out for those factors. Dream World: Yanmega has Frisk as it´s Dream world ability, it´s currently avaible and it could be used for scouting but since Yanmega is a sweeper it needs either of it´s other abilites, no to mention the fact that with proper analysis, Knowledge, prediction and calculations you can scout yourself what item the opponent is holding. Oh sorry my bad, see I copy the whole Alakazam analysis and replace the information with the pokemon I´m analyzing, I must´ve forgotten that.
