How old are you? Male or female? 27, Male What time zone are you in and what times do you normally play? I live in Indiana, so EST. I only play in the evenings when my children are in bed. They usually go to bed around 9 pm. What is your main character's name/level/race/class/spec/item level? Cynikal is a level 100 Human Shadow Priest with an item level of 691/693. What raiding alts do you have? (include realm/name/level/race/class/spec)? I probably won't be raiding on alts much, but if I did once content was on farm or something, I would probably choose Cyniq, my ~665 Blood Death Knight. I also have a level 100 Monk, Hunter and Paladin. What is your real ID? (Not necessary, although convenient for getting back to you, or getting ahold of you for alternate nights) Cynikal#1328 Are you currently in a guild? If so, name of current guild, how long have you been with them and why do you wish to leave? I am currently in Sundered. I have been with them for about nine months now. When my wife and I reactivated our accounts a month before WoD dropped, she joined Sundered because she had some old friends in the guild. I joined simply because she did. I want to leave because I want to be in a guild that has better progression and more desire and skill to work on Mythic raids....and my wife let her account deactivate! What are your game goals? Do you classify yourself as a casual raider, semi hardcore, or hardcore raider? Do you have any interest in PVP? I'll be honest here where others probably wouldn't be; my game goals, as a raider, are to obtain the best gear that I can possibly obtain and consistently perform in the top percentile of my class/spec/item level just like any other raider. With that being said, I also want to be in a guild that is fun to play in, gets along well and has a good time playing the game while consistently progressing with minimal elitism. I consider myself a semi-hardcore raider as of today due to family and career obligations and because all of my gear has been obtained exclusively through pugs and mission cache rewards. I would only have an interest in PvP if raiding content is on farm and there is no progression and minimal gear yet to obtain. Please tell us about your experience raiding, instances/significant bosses cleared. I have been a raider in WoW since Vanilla and played the game since the Beta version. I have been in server-top guilds from the time I began in Molten Core through the time I had to quit shortly after Cata was released due to starting a family and pursuing career goals (I did not raid Cata or MoP). My relevant experience in WoD consists of AotC Highmaul on 2/22 and AotC BrF on 5/14. Again, I have only raided in pugs and never with a core group/guild in this expansion, hence the late AotC dates. I have never attempted a single Mythic raid or a Challenge Mode dungeon because I lacked the group/guild to master it with. I would love to do both. Please let us know a good time to review the gear you intend to begin raiding in. We use Armory for this, so just tell us when we can look at your gear, you don't need to be logged on. Anytime unless you happen to catch me in healing gear to avoid long DPS queue times in Mythic 5-mans or Timewalk dungeons. Cynikal's Armory What roles are you skilled at raiding in? Tank, Heal, DPS? And are you interested in playing an Off-spec or one of your other characters that could be helpful if needed? I would consider myself skilled in all roles of the game, but master only of the Shadow Priest. I have seriously raided only as a Shadow Priest. I wouldn't consider healing Molten Core with Nature Resistance and Armor set bonuses as skilled healing. I began playing Shadow early in Vanilla Naxx when groups within the raid meant more than just 'soak group' or 'balcony group' and VE constantly healed and VT constantly restored mana and when mana was an asset to manage*. I would be interested in off-spec or alt roles, but I wouldn't have much time to gear them up to the 700s and be a viable option due to real life! I really enjoy playing my DK, but I have certainly not mastered tanking by any means as I have only pugged BrF a few times with him.How did you hear about us? WoW Recruiting Forums, word of mouth, etc.? I have inspected members of Vyndikated in game as well as followed the guild's progress on wowprogress. I was interested to be a part of the guild knowing the dedication and progression is there which must also mean the group gets along well and has a good time! Sounds to me like a great place to be Anything else we need to know? The only thing that would hold me back from perfect attendance to raids would be family obligations and sometimes I work into the evening hours. I will not be able to be there 100%, but I would make a great contribution to the raid when I am able to play! Also, even if my wife did reactivate, it doesn't mean I would just bounce out. We live together which means we don't have to also play together. Too much can be too much... * - generalization on mana management, not to be ignorant! |

Cynikal, Thanks for taking the time to fill out an app! We will contact you more in game. Just curious do you have any logs? Also, are you available to raid tonight? |

Cynikal, might i suggest gearing up your monk and raiding as windwalker? At the moment we have a main tank blood Dk and Brewmaster Monk. We also have 3 other DPS that tank on nights we need them. Not that we are a guild that tells people what they have to raid on but our progression raid really needs another windwalker monk, we lost one recently. |

Base - I have not stepped foot in HFC, so I don't have anything from there. I forget the password to the account (multiple friends use the account for logs), so I will have to contact them and retrieve the password to view all my logs I have submitted. I can still access the most recent log I uploaded because it is still saved in the client side of Ask MrRobot. http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/combatlog/ca578686-b58e-47d7-8699-cce5eebc33d1/overview Konstable - I am willing to try it here and there, however, Cynikal will be my main raider! I leveled him as Brewmaster and have never attempted Windwalker in any capacity. I do not have a true, in-depth knowledge of the class, abilities, or raid utility of any Monk spec, so I would definitely need time to work on it to play in a progression raid capacity and be competitive. To be perfectly honest and open, I would have a very hard time gearing up my Monk because he has a pleb follower army, nothing unlocked in 6.2, no reputation/apexis crystals to buy gear with, and I have limited time for alts. Only way I can see him being viable is if he is carried through and fast tracked to raid levels unfortunately. 90% of my alt time has been spent on the DK. Chances of it truly happening would be pretty slim

James (Konstable) I think you misread him. Hes a shadow priest not a DK lol. Range DPS is definitely our #1 need. Cyn - Watch some videos if you could. We will go in @ 8 server tonight & I'll speak with our GM (Holykryt). If we have an extra spot (which we should) I'm sure we can bring you in. One addon we require for HFC right now is "Iskar Assist". Edited by Base, Jun 30 2015, 01:33 PM.

Ok, I'll get the addon. I should be able to play tonight, but possibly could be a bit late. I'm sure that if I do raid more, I can get a schedule with the family a few nights a week to where I can get on even if my fatherly chores aren't quite finished for the night so that I am on time as much as possible. Also, I have watched the fatboss ptr videos, so I have a general clue. I'll try to do some homework throughout the rest of the day. Do you know of a good compilation video that sums up the bosses in a more timely manner than the individual 10 minute videos for each boss? |
