http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/saturn/review/R105225.html I must have seen this a hundred times in the back of Gamefan. It looked like a graphic adventure, it was about a character with multiple personalities. Yeah, I fell in love with it. And finally, after so many years, I found some info on it. This is pretty interesting (and mature) stuff. This girl (Maria) with Multiple Personality Disorder gets in a bike accident and suffers major head trauma. While at the hospital, she gets assaulted every night by a nurse (a male nurse, I'm sure), but everyone just thinks because of her head trauma, she's just imagining it. But then she escape the hospital and, as her doctor, you go look for her. Does anyone know anything about Baroque, Twilight Syndrome, or Team Innocent? |

Well, here's something interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goichi_Suda Suda 51 worked on Twilight Syndrome, and he's doing a collaberation with Hideo Kojima. I'm such a profound dork for this, but...my inner fangirl is squealling in ecstacy. |

And let me join you in that fangasm, my dear! And dude! Suda was in Human Entertainment! They made Clock Tower! Oooh! Before moving on, have I talked about V: A Graphic Adventure? Without giving away a lot of the plot, Maria reminds me a lot of V. I so gotta talk about that one... Gamefan was the greatest magazine, period. That's how I learned about Eva and how I was being screwed out of all the good games. Ah, those were the days, weren't they? Back when video games and anime actually had some indie cred...and didn't suck so out loud. There were no endless parades of bloodless WWII first person shooters, and anime were those weird cartoons that sometimes had naked boobies that you could only find at dark, seedy rental places. Anyway, found this on Team Innocent: http://www.hudsonentertainment.com/feature.php?feature_id=30 Team Innocent was one of the inspirations for Team Orphan, if in name only. Yeah, that cool picture in the back of Gamefan that made it look profound and deep...totally misleading. It looks like cutesy-poo generic anime fodder. Supposedly, it was the precursor of Resident Evil, coming out while Alone in the Dark was still in production. Supposedly. Well, suppose we'll never know... Hey, while we're going Japanese, anyone have any good info on Kowloon's Gate or Dark Messiah (Hell Night in Europe)? I remember digging up a small shooter spinoff of Baroque called "Baroque Syndrome". Super short, but looks great. -Tabris |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuv3Kl7j6B4 Thank you, YouTube! Over forty minutes of how bad we got screwed. Enjoy! Just remember that humankind cannot bear very much reality... (Edit: "Terms of Use Violations"? Fucking bullshit! They were video game cutscenes, for Christ's sake! -Tabris) |

...Wow...thank you, Bunny. I saw this over at the-magicbox.com: "Sting announced a PS2 remake of the classic Sega Saturn action RPG Baroque, the game will be released in Japan in 2007." Not holding my breath for an American release. They said Kowloon's Gate was coming here... |

I found this on Kowloon's Gate: http://www.zeque.co.jp/kowloon/ Being a little bit of graphic adventure junkie, I was curious, but...wow! Look at all this merchandise! Someone should petition it to be re-released on the Wii virtual console or something. ~Meiko |

...I so love you people. I know Galerians was translated and came here, but still, it is pretty obscure. Besides, and I hate using the "FG" word, but I'm a total Galerians fangirl. http://www.redvoid.com/galerians.html Not the best site, but nice looking. http://www.moonreading.lunarpages.com/gale...s/galelink.html A Galerians webring. Don't recall the last time I've heard the term "webring". |
