Fixed conversion, I can't get it to work for spies currently, but I'll crack that nut eventually... |

No problem :). The first thing I notice as Alba is that Dunachton does not have the core_building. Is this intended? While I'm pretty sure both the AI and human Alba will create this the first turn, it could lead to a rebellion CTD if it's not there (the peasants are not recruitable). Edit: And the second thing I notice is that I can't load my men into boats. What's up with that? I just get the army exchange screen, as you do if you try to merge two armies that are too many for one stack. Edit2: No, that was only the one turn. The next turn it went fine. Weird. |

The campaign script places regional info buildings in villages, otherwise there's that error message etc. Maybe the no-exchange thing is a matter of movemnt points or sth... |

It places the regional info building there, yes. However, the core_building (governor's palace, if you will) is missing. It only takes one turn to build it up though. Edit: New information on the loading into ships thing. Cavalry cannot be loaded. I assume this is intentional with the tiny boats available. Edit2: And what do you know, the boat description actually says so. Learn to read, bovi. |

Oops, misread, sorry. Dunachton is a village at game start though, so it shouldn't have a core building, right? Do you think Alba is hard for the player on M/M? |

Don't really know yet... I've taken one extra settlement and am not very wealthy at all with a surplus of 15 shillings each turn. I expect trouble when the Norwegians come pouring down. |

I'm starting with Alba as well, after some tweaks. Also noticed that their faction-selection image has 4 'castles' on it, while they start with 3 regions... |

15 shillings, my what you can get for that when I were a lad (well, when my grandfather was a lad anyway)... Hwiterhe (Reget) is essentially the rebel capital and quite a strong city. Hard for Alba to take but it might give them a great deal of strength to wipe out these Reget rebels as a priority if the player. Under AI they may need an army boost. I've allowed horsed BG units to travel by boat

Yep, I'll give them Cyil and a small garrison. |

MoN and Uranos, the map seatrade-bug should be solved soon, as this will change the cash-flow balance significantly, and with this the campaign-balance. Aradan, as for balancing Wessex and Mercia plus Wessex and Danes, i gave already hints, or better said i meant, that the tweaks that i did, have provided a quite proper balance, also on M/M ... perhaps make a check of the files, just an idea. |

I've looked at your files, but beta-testing under a different version (with your personal tweaks) than what the rest of us use makes things kinda complicated you see. Don't worry, I'll get there finally.
What's the solution to the sea-trade bug? |

I got another transient CTD when retaking Dunad from the Norwegians, upon selecting the settlement's fate. Lusted had a tip about this, replacing data\world\...\map_regions.tga with corrected_regions.tga that is generated into the RTW root folder (and then regenerating map.rwm from it). He said he never got this error again after doing so. Might be a good idea, if you don't routinely do so upon each map change already. |

I did that already but I cannot remember if I did it with patch 1. Thx for the tip. How come no one else has got a single CTD? lol. Thx Bovi. |

I notice that the Norwegians have a name Asbjorn. As the Northumbrians use the proper Æ in Æthelred, I'd think this should rather be Asbjørn, or the even more precise Ásbjǫrn. This is a very minor point though. BTW, is it right to report every kind of thing in this thread? |
