My brain works weirdly when it comes to fanfictions and my own stories. So this is the spot where I'm putting random 'scenes' from my various works in progress. Sometimes I'll just... think of something I want to add later into my story/fanfic in great detail, then when the time comes, I'll have forgotten. Confused you yet? Well, basically, I'm writing down random chunks of stories that will probably not make any sense, given there is no context. So... yeah! Feel free to comment, chat, whathaveyou below.
Harry Potter Fanfics Cannon Charries SENIOR YEAR'S GONNA BE LONELY... "I'm doing just fine!" Ginny snarled, whirling on her heels and pausing at the doorframe. "Honestly Ron, you disregard me for weeks, and that's all you have to say now that we're finally alone? I don't want to hear it," with that, she practically flew out of the house, still burning with rage. Once she was safely out of the house, she apparated to the one place that could calm her down in the middle of summer: Diagon Alley. "Girls," Ron muttered after she was well out of earshot. "They're all the same, really." Extended Universe Ashley Black-Thorne SCHEDULE CHANGES Ashley swung her head through the open door, knocking lightly on the door behind her. "Professor," she began politely, all thoughts of her previous anger at a certain half-brother of hers forgotten.
Snape's black eyes blinked towards her. "Come in," he said, pronouncing every syllable with something that sounded close to impatience.
"It's about my schedule," she said as she walked through and sat down in the adjacent chair. Placing it in front of him, she pointed to her free period. "See, I was wondering if I could take up an extra class?"
"What class?"
"I was getting there, interestingly enough," Ashley said tranquilly, trying her best to keep her growing irritation out of her voice. Taking a deep breath, she kept going. "Herbology. I know. I stopped taking it after my second year... but I was wondering if I could take it up again? At level five, that is." That was the catch. She was, technically at level three with her Herbology. But she couldn't possibly take a level three class. Not right now... "I can take the two finals for levels three and four, to prove I'm ready for it," she offered.
"And what makes you so sure you could pass?" in the beat he paused, Ash opened her mouth, prepared to answer that question. However, Snape, spoke first. "I'm not responsible for schedule changes, Miss Black-Thorne. I suggest you speak with Professor McGonagall."
Ashley's hazel eyes stared disbelievingly at Snape. "Sir... she's the head of Gryffindor. I'm pretty sure she's only responsible for Gryffindor schedule changes," her eyes rolled just the slightest bit.
"Or perhaps you'd be better off leaving this room and doing without Herbology altogether," he said sharply, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "Anything else?"
Ashley bit her lip to keep her teeth away from the potion's masters neck. "No, sir," she said curtly, stepping out of the chair and out the door in one fluid motion. From behind her, she heard Snape start to say something along the lines of 'Headmaster Dumbledore,' but before he could finish her wand was out, slamming the door behind her without slacking pace.
WORDLESS ECHOS A Slytherin girl sitting alone among the bleachers caught Harry's eye. She had a prominent jaw-line and charming features. From her posture, he assumed her to be a first-year. In any case, it was hardly likely she was older than him, so at most she could have been a second-year. Her eyes had glinted over from where he could see them, placed above her woolen green and white scarf and just peeking out from her shaggy, blunt-cut bangs. But what was she doing watching a Gryffindor Quidditch Practice?
Harry's green eyes furrowed slightly, as he was unable to answer that question. "Oi! Head in the game, mate?" the second-year turned his Nimbus to see Fred grinning at him, George behind him, holding something that looked to be a golden golf-ball. "If klutzy old George can-"
"Alright, both of you go do what you're good at. Whacking things with sticks," Oliver flew up after them, dispersing the twins. "Never mind them Harry. He was millimeters away when I released it." The keeper chuckled. "Now, George's probably dropped it by now-- why don't you go catch us 150 points?"
"Thanks," Harry smiled back, glancing back at the girl once more before turning his attention to the practice game that was going on. Angelina and Alicia against Katie and the substitute Walter, Fred and George giving each other the 'eye' as they were sorted to the teams, and Milika, substitute keeper siding with Angelina. He smiled before a glint of a shiny surface caught his attention. That's what he was needed for now. Forgetting about the Slytherin watching the practice and the opposing Gryffindor teams, Harry sped off after it.
THE NEW TATTOO PARLOR "Ash," a tall, scruffy-haired boy caught Ashley's attention as she strode through the breezeway. She lowed to wait for him. "You're giving people lightning scars?"
"Mm, since we're on school grounds, I'm calling them tattoos, but... yeah," she said with a grin. "Ya' know, they're pretty cool, you want one?"
"Got one," Harry said, indicating towards his forehead.
"Gotcha," she nodded. "Mine are cooler," she added under her breath as she picked up her pace to leave him behind.
"Hey, this is the original!" Harry said with a grin as he ran after her.
Korain Malfoy A DARK MIRACLE The room was more silent than Kory had before thought possible. For a long time, they just stared at each other. Neither of the two girls wanted to ask the one question that was on both's mind: what was going to happen? Well, it wasn't any celebration, that was for sure. Otherwise, why keep them in this cellar, without means of escape? Eh, maybe it was a party game.
Not wanting to think any further into what use a mudblood and a squib would possibly be at a death eater rally, Korain began to speak into the stillness. "So what are you th-"
"Is it true you're a squib?" Hermione cut in. It was hard to tell in the dim light, but her brown eyes were clearly upset. Why wouldn't they be? She looked a number of things, actually. Betrayed, scared, grief-stricken, and upset.
Kory swallowed, suddenly wishing the rally would get a move on so they'd be out there sooner. "Yeah. Yes, I'm a squib," she held up her hand to stop Hermione's next question. "Squib's are considered a stain to a pureblood family, so my father bribed a few of the teachers. That's also why I'm the worse student at Hogwarts," she said.
"Oh." Another wave of silence. There was something about the lack of talking in the room. It was unspoken, but it was growing clearer by the minute something unforgivable would happen as soon as they were escorted to the stage. Kory could barely recall the day when the war was lost. She called it the Green Day.
Bodies were sprawled across the floor. Every one of them had a name, most of them were children. Children that had stood up and fought for their school. Ron, Neville, Lavender, Fred, Percy, Fleur, Tonks, Lupin, Arthur, countless others, and... and Blaise.
Swallowing and trying hard not to shudder, she had felt the blood and grit caked onto her face, her hair just loosely staying in her braid, her mortality as evident as ever. She had pivoted towards the living: a large group of Death Eaters, a smaller group of the living who had fought against the Dark Lord.
"Let's kill them! Kill them all!" Bella's voice was the loudest.
"Askaban would do them well," was Voldemort's reply. "Who knows, a few years there might.. change their minds." He paced through the group of POWs. With shock, Kory realized she was the only non-death eater without restrains. A flash of irritation shot through her. I'm not useless. I'm not. The Malfoy recognized a couple of the living. There was Ginny, George, Hermione, Cho, Bill, Molly...
He had come to a stop beside Hermione Granger. "Except for you. The death eaters and I have... something else in mind for you," he said with a slight smile. A few of the death eaters laughed. Korain remembered how she had paled, trying her best to hold her ground. Then he was speaking to Narcissa. Kory caught Draco's eye for a moment. After a moment, she glanced away. And saw Voldemort and Narcissa's eyes on her.
Oh. So that's how Hermione had felt.
"Yes?" she called, raising her eyebrows and crossing her arms.
Her mother had given her a wavering smile. "Good news sweetheart. The Dark Lord is offering you a favor you can't decline."
Kory realized her face was paling only when Hermione came over to sit beside her. "Look, whatever happens..." she said with a sigh. "It's not your fault." By the tightness in her jaw, Korain could tell the muggle-born knew exactly what was going to happen. After all, she was the smartest witch of her day. Kory had yet to figure it out.
Then the door opened, filling the cellar with light. "You're up." The next few moments they were being pushed and shoved out onto the stage. It was chaos trying to figure out where to look. Hermione and her must look like idiots, blindly twisting and whatnot.
"... found the power to transfer the stolen magic back to its rightful owner. Here, we have a very high-status young witch. A Malfoy. She too has suffered the tragic loss of her stolen powers." Oh sh*t. "Along with her today we have a mudblood, scum of the earth. Stolen magic from someone just like this Malfoy girl." Hermione's eyes seemed to whisper, its not your fault.
There were shouts everywhere, curses, jests. "But today." The announcers voice rose above them all. "We will have justice!" Involuntarily, Kory's hand found Hermione's. Locking fingers, their eyes stayed forward as Korain's knuckles turned white.
The pause was unnecessary. It was torture. And that was just what it was meant to be. Then the hand she was holding went slack. Kory shut her eyes and felt beats of sweat forming on her brow. Something was shoved into her free hand. "Ladies and gentlemen, we give you-"
"Wave it," one of the guards ordered gruffly. Numbly forgetting to rebel against them, she flicked the object, dully aware of a strong light beaming from it.
"A witch!"
The world around her was getting blurry as she kept her eyes shut, knees locked. Cheers from the crowd, she just barely heard them, echoing in the back of her mind as she fell backwards, blacking out before she hit the stage floor.
Its not your fault. But it was.

Avatar {neytiri} Fanfics JUST FOR KICKS Norm shut his eyes as he let his consciousness slide away from him. It grew more natural each time he'd done it to the point where it was as simple as brushing his teeth. Once he felt his tail behind him, he opened his eyes. This was the worse part of the whole 'avatar' thing. His body had just woken up but his mind was wide awake. Sitting up, he watched Grace as she flicked an ear back, her eyes slowly opening. All the other avatar's were still sleeping, of course. It was early, they were actually going out for a special assignment.
The sound of a fist against metal made him practically jump out of his skin. "Rise and shine avatars! We gotta run." Norm smiled a bit. That was his favorite voice.
"Are you ready, Grace? Don't want to leave our pilot waiting too long," Norm turned towards his fellow avatar. His golden eyes glowed slightly with anticipation, clearly reflected in his supervisors eyes. He didn't even need a response. Norm opened the door leading outside, instinctively quiet, although it was unnecessary. It wasn't as if the avatar's had a consciousness to wake.
As the door closed shut behind them with Grace's signature bang, Norm strode towards the helicopter, an invisible smile crossing his face as he saw their pilot awaiting them just outside, an oxygen mask over her face. "Good thing you two decided to show up. I was just about to leave without you," Trudy said, raising an eyebrow.

Kim Possible Team Go CLONE-O-PHOBIC "That... is not good," Shego said nervously to herself as she watched the newly bred Go clones cluster in the center of the lab below. Jasper could not find out about this...
ANTIGO "Where did you think the orange glow of the comet went?" the so called, 'Antigo' asked with difference.
"You know, I really don't care," Shego said with half-shut eyes, clearing not interested. "Listen, I-"
"No, you listen to me!"
"Mm-hm. Personal space," she said, aiming a plasma-blast at Antigo's chest to knock him away from her. As her blow was about to make impact, he glowed orange, cancelling her power. Shego's eyes widened in momentary shock. He chuckled softly in mock amusement.
"Care now?" Team Possible Cooking "Shego, where did you learn to cook?"
"The circus." She flipped a page. As he opened his mouth, she added, "Don't ask." Spoiler: click to toggle "Uh... Shego? Remember back when we were fighting Aviarius, and you told your brothers you were evil? Was that... was that really true?" she dared to question.
"Kimbo, my brothers see things in black and white. If I'm not a good guy, I have to be a bad guy."
"Oh... right. Well, I-" Kim squirmed a little.
"You do to. I know," Shego rolled her eyes slightly.
"I kinda have to. I mean, I have to fight crime every day. If I started thinking more about it-"
"You might actually get feelings? Go figure."
"I- wait. Does this mean that you've been going easy on me?"
"Kimmie, I'm trained in assassination. Trained to make things quick and undetectable. So my actual fighting skills are kinda rusty."
"Why didn't you just..?"
"I just I kinda... well... didn't want you to die. A little," she admitted carefully.
"O... oh," Kim replied. "Whatever, just follow my lead," Shego muttered in a low voice. "Since when do you ballroom dance?" Drakken asked incredulously. Just when you think you know your sidekick... "Since I was seven. Mego could never get a date." ---- "Hi," Shego closed the door in front of him, tilting her head. ---- "Wait a minute- where's Shego?" Kim realized a moment too late. "Ron!" "Ahh!" he screamed as he was knocked to the floor. ---- "Oh come on, what happened to once a superhero always a superhero?" Shego said, folding her arms as she looked at the so called 'Batman.' "And in any case, I'm in need of some help. My foe would help me. But that doesn't really count, cause, she owes me like seven times over." ---- TOTALLY WICKED AFTER-PARTY"So... um... Shego," Mr. Barkin started to speak to the woman sitting between him and Drakken. "You wouldn't happen to know of a Mrs. Go?" "Never heard of her in my life," Shego replied impassively. "Well, I just ask because you look practically identical." "Yea-yeah, that's... because we're twins," she improved. "But, you just said you never... heard of her..." "I haven't," she cut in quickly, obviously getting a bit more edgy as she fibbed on. "Its just... alright, its twin stuff, if you had one, you'd know." "Wouldn't I?" Mr. Barkin replied smugly. Shego's eyes widened before she looked over at the seat on the opposite side of Steve. "Hello! I'm Mr. Barkin. But you can call me Queve," said the man identical to Stevey. AN INTERMISSION"Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we've all had our fun with these little 'Wicked' numbers tonight," Steve Barkin said as he came out onto the stage holding a microphone and dressed in his costume to play Mrs. __. "From the focus of 'Rim' in 'Dancing through Life'..." In the audience, Kim exchanged a smile with Ron, moving closer and resting her head on his shoulder. "To the traces of 'Drakgo' found in 'The Wizard and I'..." At a separate location in the theater, Drakken and Shego were looking up at the speaker with oddly good spirits, both also still in costume. As he spoke, Drakken subtly put an arm around her. ".. but I think we all know what we really came out here tonight to see... ladies and gentlemen, get prepared to see some Rongo!" Mr. Barkin finished, as the screen behind him began playing the scene in which Elphaba and Fiaro kiss. Out among the seats, Shego's pupils had gone small, Ron's had gone big. "Need I bother with the 'eeee-ugh,' or is it a given?" Kim asked. Just then, the Kimmunicator beeped. "Eeee-ugh," Wade said as he was answered. "Yeah, that's what I said," Kim responded. "Oh no. Oh please no," was Shego's response. "Hmm," Drakken said, seemly considering whether he should like this or not. Ron paused a few seconds, taking everything in. "Booyah," he said quietly.
