I know people who made music to cope with pain - plenty of people do. It's a great emotional outlet. If you're like me, not so musically inclined.. I listened to music, or still do, sometimes. Back when I was being bullied, after I discovered music, I turned to Savage Garden "Crash and Burn" to let out all of my negative emotions. I would lay in my room with it playing on repeat and let it all out. It was comforting and really helped. Now, when I feel the need to let it out, I listen to a song by Eyeshine called "Alone". A good cry always helped me and I would feel better once I let my emotions go for a while.

If you're like me, piano music always made me feel better. I'd always put on How To Save a Life by The Fray when I'd had a bad day, let it repeat, and just let my thoughts run free. Great way to help me out

Music is very powerful to influence the way you feel. It's important to let yourself feel your emotions, but music can also help bring you up again.
