Hi,

My name is Alan and I left school at 16. I am now 24.

Throughout school other people made my life a misery. As soon as I could I left school and went to college. After a difficult year at college I completed my course and jumped into the world of work. I worked for about 6 months as an office admin but eventually lost that job after my father was diagnosed with cancer and the stress caused my own health related problems. After a 6 month period of unemployment I got a job at a CCTV installation company. This is when things really turned around. I worked for them for just under 3 years before taking a job where I headed up the support and infrastructure teams at a fairly large provider of independent financial research in London. After a further 6 months at this place I decided the job wasnt for me and that I would now become self employed.

This brings me to where I am now; I have been running my own business for 3 years and am beginning to see some success. I manage the IT in a number of businesses in the Leicestershire area. Ancillary duties include providing proving managed web hosting for www.wearetherangersboys.com and managed email hosting for a number of businesses.

However bad things feel right now never despare! There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
