In Western Standoffs. The contestants did not usually go for a HEADSHOT or a KILL! Therefore, when doing stand-offs do not go for the opponents head. Its not meant to be to the death. The contestants actually aimed to injure opponent, typically the opponents shooting hand. Remember, Realism is the key to a fun Roleplay! How To Have A Standoff: -Both opponents turn backs towards each other. -They tend to take maybe 5-10 steps away from each other *Just use one line to rp a short distance from each other.* -After a countdown by a witness, the opponents try to draw, aim, and fire the fastest. *If there is no witness, one of you can do the countdown.* -Whoever lands the shot second, will be the one who will receive the lost and the injury. *We aren't saying that you can only aim for the opponents hand, but you should try something other than a head shot.* Edited by Rell, May 10 2013, 05:53 AM.
