The water today was brilliant, cant fault that.

Today didnt start off as welas I hoped. For the first time ever, that boat wouldnt idle to start with. GRRRRR (I did prep that boat yesterday, started it, took the cover off, had a look, all good)(Boat has been booked in for a service on Thursday anyway)

I anchored up at the ramp, took the cover off, checked the leads etc, no probs, started it and all good.

Headed out to my whiting spot and it was virtually dead. Between 2 of us, we caught 9 whiting and 2 herrings in a hour. I hooked up something big on my whiting rig, started to play it and my friggin hook snapped in half. Cheap S**t bait catcher rig from kmart. After a while of nothing, moved to another spot of nothing.

So off to Carnac for a swim, water was a bit cold so i packed it up and head home.

C**kburn sea rescue must have been busy or my VHF is buggered. I tried several times to call to log out but those calls went unanswered. I tried rockingham sea rescue and also no responce. I tried to ring C**kburn sea rescue with no answer, so I tried calling them on my 27meg, finally managed to log off

Loaded the boat on the trailer, winched it up, chain on, drove home. On the way home I thought I saw the boat bounce a little more than usual, turned out I forgot to put that winch lock on, and put the winch handle away, So Ive lost that now.

Hope everyone else did ok

Bugger. I always keep two handles these days.
If I lose one, eBay another. I do the same and accidentally leave it attached.

I'm half thinking about welding it on. Haha

Yep she was flat.
Got out to the 5 fathom but it was very quiet.
Heaps of boats out. Point Peron carpark was over flowing.
Rockingham sea rescue was towing a boat in when I came in.
