Rocko crabs

Went out last night for a snorkel for some crabs. In the water as soon as last light left for the night. Heaps of crabs about, and could have the pick of the bunch. Ended up with these beauties in just over an hour ranging from 2 - 4m in depth. Managed to get a couple of YFW with the gidge too. So crabs and whiting for dinner tonight. 😋
Good to see fisheries out past their bedtime for a sunday night, inquiring about where we are going and what we planned on catching. Pointed out the obvious that we cant use the gidge on the crabs but everything else is fair game. Heaps of occy's about too. Would have made beautiful bait, if they werent so hard to handle under water without a knife to cut their head off......
