Well its been a while since I went out to the x spot so was looking forward to revisiting my spot ,however 500 mtrs short a lump out of 17 mtrs came up to 11mtrs ,wtf I have been over this ground heaps of times ,still sniffed round it and it was about the size of a bus ,and there was activity on the tele , put the pick in and gave it a go 5 mins on and had a smash take on the light rod dropped it ,20 mins later smashed again same result dropped ,fark changed the jig ,then the other rod went of same result fark fark . 10 mins later were on again this time got him pinky at 68 noooicccee . then a leatherjacket ,couple of skippy then as I was reeling in five big YTK are chasseing the SP down were on ,bang were on round the boat knit one pearl one with the anchor rope only one winner YTK ,spat the dummy went home .

It's amazing how we have no idea what's down there, how many times i find ground near old ground i thought i had sussed. Usually where theres one spot, there's another not far away. |

And I always find those small lumps best….as they mostly hold a big territorial fish (i.e. Dhu). Just have to interest him.
