Went out last night for another go at the Pinkies. I found it very quiet with not much action of any kind for a bit. Made a couple of moves and found some fish showing on the sounder. Plenty of baitfish and a few bigger ones underneath. Got a variety of small fish, scalies, yellowtail, herring and tailor. I hung a snapper frame over as berley and it just mysteriously dissapeared, maybe thats why the other fish didn.t want to bite. The sounder showed bigger fish there constantly but hardly a touch. I got a couple of half hearted runs without hooking up for while. Eventually I managed one nice little Gummy Shark for my efforts but that was it, oh except for port jackson, fiddler and one flying eagle ray.The eagle ray put on,a bit of a show with a few jumps and arial action. So that was it for the night.

The shoulder is still giving me a bit of trouble, but I don't think about it too much while fishing. Just work around it, but it takes a little longer to recover afterwards. Must be getting old, I'm not ever giving fishing up though.

Well done dan, Can you tell me please if you were in the sound or out. I'm heading out tonight from Peron and still thinking of where I should anchor, Inside the 5 or hunt the sound?

Thanks
