Headed out today mainly to break in the new rod and reel (Blackhole 9'5 monster and a stradic 8000 with Tasline)

Aim was to flick lures about for capes taylor and the hope that some salmon were still about to pull some string.

Swell was massive but managed a nice 44 cm taylor and lost a few others. Love the rod casts a mile!

That combo must have set you back a few dollars Goodie!?

Keen to get myself a new shore based spin outfit around the 8-9' myself but will have to wait a while for the boss to lapse back into generous mode :D

Congrats on the christening mate (and yes Numbskull know supertubes well surfed that lots as a youngster). B-)
Kind Regards
