My holidays are coming to an end and the weather is turning dead foul shortly, so the missus gave me leave pass while she looked after our four kids.
I ended up fishing at Myalup as Preston was weeded out, and I haven't been to Myalup for ages, what a pretty town it is! I will have to take the family down there for the day next hols.
The beach at Myalup still had a bit of weed but the swell was HUGE at up to 3 meters booming onto the beach. After several hours effort I ended up with a pair of small shovel nosed rays and a few wrasses that were released. I then caught a 37cm Tarwhine that looked like a black bream as it was so dark in color.
I don't usually eat Tarwhine anymore but this one will be baked with onions and lemon like I do with black bream and smaller snapper.

Yep pretty sure its a black bream mate, I've caught them there off the beach before. There's a drain/creek that run out from close to there.
