I managed to get out for a fish on my mates boat today.. we headed out to about 30 meters and at no particular spot, the water was so beautiful, almost flat. i think we bagged out in snapper after a couple hours, so we started to catch and release. i couldn't tell you how many we release but I did get a double header of legal snapper. kiwi limit where I was fishing is 7 per person and 300mm long from the nose to the V of the tail Edited by red hilux, Jan 4 2015, 03:48 PM.

Forgot to mention I caught what he thinks it's a dog shark. To me it's a small gummy with teeth. Also pulled up a couple yellow tails. Set this up as live bait, we had a couple under size yellow tail king fish circling the boat for a couple hours, looking at out bail, looking at our berley trail, looking at our snappers that we were. Pulling up but never went for anything |

This trip here this year has been one of the greatest. If you can and your in the North island For $99 you can go on an intro flight where you learn how to fly a Cessna 172. It's about 1 hour long and they walk you thru checklist etc. my fly time was 0.6 hours and I now have a log book of sorts. You take off, fly around the airport, over to some of the island where you can play with the controls, more scenic flying and in my case, since flying before, sort of land the plane Here is some disgusting photos to look at. My father in law was flying, I was rear passenger taking pics That very first pic is shag rock or shag island. I've fished that rock a few times and done well. Couple years back, I caught a massive John Dory of that Edited by red hilux, Jan 5 2015, 03:00 AM.

Nice. Theres 2 types of dogfish, one that is inedible with 2 dorsal spines, the other type with no spines is great eating. But why eat shark when fresh snapper is on the menu! |

8 pack of jack and coke cans $20 in kiwi 10 pack of jack and coke $40 I still think its more expensive to live in kiwi land than here. Wages are a lot lower than here, petrol is really cheap there at the moment. $1.72/ litre Normally over $2/litre shopping is here and there |
