Sunday, weather looked acceptable for some fishing. Few mates and their boats were going off Mandurah for something different, so decided to follow them out and give Mandurah the unknown a crack.
Went out with goodie, worked some larger areas 50km WSW of the cut and managed a fair few dhus and goodie got a nice one at 12kg.
Fair distance further than off Rockingham, but seems a fair amount more fish due to the distance maybe.
Bagged out before lunch and headed in with 2 Dhus, 2 Breaksea Cods.

I see Goodie doesn't behave properly by letting you get the big fish.
Needs further training IMO....

Expectations are on deckies to catch, I spot em, they hook em. If he dropped them and didn't hook them, I'll be finding a new deckie haha.
Always luck of the day, sometimes its me, other times it's the deckie. Since you've moved to melb, 2015 so far has been very productive with larger specimens. Coincidence? :P

Yeah mate but we went about another 5 Kay's out fishing the 50-60 mtr mark that day. It was a good day. There is some good ground out that direction in the 30's, 40's and 60 mtr mark. I also have some great ground due west from the cut in the 40's and 50's which is a bit closer.

Well we should cross over every so often. Before I think we worked back to back swings haha.
I'll keep in touch, as there's two places I want to fish more. Thats Mandurah and Two Rocks. They are unreal places. Rockingham is a bit thrashed now, still some big fish. April the big boys will be about as per normal patterns. Hoping I'm back for short 2-3wk period that usually happens.
