Well it's over for another year.
Another epic trip filled with dramas, breakdowns, sand flies, shit weather and gear failures in between some truly epic fishing.
Fished between 60 and 320 meters in depth and up to 80km from shore.
The results were Red Emporer to 11kg, Spanglues to 60cm, Red Troat to 50cm, Goldband to 7kg, Ruby's to 8kg, Grey Band Cod to nearly 30kg with Rankin, Pearlys, big Robinson sea bream and asorted odds and sods.
Did i mention the sharks.
Fark me so many god dam sharks.

Absolutely awesome fishing again, that should keep you smiling for quite some time. 80kms is a long way offshore but the conditions looked pretty good. How do you get your filets home Lefty?

Pack them frozen in an esky with the lid taped down.
Just pay for the extra baggage.
They stay frozen for the 3.5 hour flight.
All fillets are vacuum packed.

I see Red I see Red, looks like there's a few monsters still around, that one Spence is holding is a Horse. Bet there was a bit of yelling and hi 5s when that was sighted. 😲👍

If it's red it's dead haha.
Unreal fishing there, heard a few reports that the sharks are everywhere this year.

Lost a lot of good fish to sharks. They love reds too.
We could tell when we were about to hook up as the sharks would circle the boat.
Few more pics.
