Finally manged to line up a day away from work and the family. Hit up the shallow water to jig some fish. picked up a few it close but not as many as other times of the year.

Managed to get lucky and get a PB. The big bronze one made it home so I loosened the drag and we drove back on it. We extracted it from the reef and got it to the surface, but the speed of the drift 15lb line means we had to back down on it again to get the big girl on board.

Also got onto a school of 5-7 kilo pinks but they were expert in finding the reef, so I used softys to save $$ and still snag a few. Gold squidgy flick bait was awesome but were chewed up badly for each fish. Zmans again the best as far as catching and durability.

Very Nice work. Dhey's love jigs, but too much work for my liking.
15lb you're leaving not much chance for a bigger fish, but very sporting. Those dhus fit in the tiniest of holes down there and don't move.
