Keyboard wizard? lol....

If its Sea Maps you're talking about......

I've got nothing, there are few different things i've seen in the past. Problem is they aren't correct. google earth i've tried and its crap.

You need contacts with seabed imagery, met a bloke off HB a while back who gave me some stuff, but wouldn't disclose much......(obviously for own interest and companies) You can purchase maps/software which costs about $129379348023, which is generally purchased by big shipping companies etc.

i'm intrigued by this subject though and interested myself if anybody else has had any luck on this??? I haven't looked into it for about 2 years now though.

Managed to find old email off HB....bloke off there was wrasse hunter....

He mentions:
TerraExplorerPro
and google earth as i mentioned as a freebie, problem is getting the maps for it....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
LIDAR imagery is best for this sort of thing also....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Basically Rob....unless you're a millionaire or have some contacts, prob out of luck. Remembering those maps you buy are crap and very basic, won't show up anything. Where as LIDAR you could map out the sea floor to <5m accuracy and pick up every pinnacle, ledge etc.....technology... still a step away from us fishos.

Navionics is crappy.Old man purchased the Australia wide Navionics card when he bought the new Bar Crusher. Found it to be unreliable. it has lumps/reef mapped that just arent there and reef you know is there is sometimes either not shown or 50-100m away on the map.
very S**tty.

Navionics - $15 for the app on your phone

Helped me find a few new drop-offs to fish in the river. Not bad for $15, certainly didn't replace a good Sounder .

Nearmaps when free was awesome until they took it away...

The DOT ones are now located in the members only section. The ones you do want are the RAN maps. NFI on how to get those though.
