What are everyone's favourite lures and for what speices. Upload pics of your hard body lures or even plastics. Here are my favs ATM. I find the 2 in the middle (baitfish) do the most damage on herring and Taylor, even school mackies. I find these work better then shiny metals And they are only 3-5 bucks each. I love the look of the Maria lures that cost be around 25 bucks each but I haven't had any luck with them. Saying that the Taylor have been small recently. Maybe bigger ones would smash them. I will keep using the Because they look dynamite. The rooster speaks for it self. The floating see through one works awesome on herring, dart and I would assume whiting as well. It's a floating lure and its great to watch get smashed. The other pic has a small popper that I am going to try for whiting soon and the vibe has caught the mangrove jack in the greenough river. I am yet to get a good bream on it. I saw some lures yesterday called duo's. they look great. Solar to the blue Maria one I have. A bit smaller but has more weight for casting. That's my next buy at 27 bucks. |

Lures, yer I like lures.... Keeping them clean might also help with the rust issues. Also different metals stored together will cause rust to. But hooks will always rust with time and use. I'll run through mine every now and then and change hooks/slit rings as required. SP I'll keep in the original packet where possible. |
