My mate is keen to go try and find some Friday night if the conditions are right! Are the whispers promising? |

I'm Definately going out either Fri and/or Sat night so there's no chance of you landing anything Rob. But if your willing to risk me throwing anchors at you I'm happy to team up. All Welcome. |

I'll be heading out around the sound later this arvo to see if I can find anything to play with. Sat I'll prob head out mid arvo and see what the swell on the 5 looks like and plan B will be to come back into the sound and see what I can find after dark. |

Harding rock and northern entrance markers are where it's at when they are starting to move in Rob. Just got to have patience. Once they're in, it's like shooing fish in a barrel. Big sods of sambos at the entrance markers too, along with great whites following the moving snapper. Heard there's 2 big buggers up that end. So keep your hands inside the boat. 20kg sambo bitten in half by GW last year there. Managed few pinks of course

I swear black and blue I had a good pinkie in the berley trail amongst some sambos on Friday arvo at the d9. Heading out to covs at gentlemans hours tomorrow for a berley and see whats goin on... Had some fun with stingrays and hezzas at the cut yesterday arvo in the tinny. One decided we needed to go to Africa... sea too rough at entrance for cut, motor on and reversing.... had a crowd by this stage when having to thumb the spool the braid broke. Excellent test of a knot I devised for heavy mono to tackle. Very pleased with the results. Also modified penn ss reels going hard. Weak point now the handles. Have a penn power handle coming soon. Machined not cast and thicker everywhere. |
