Righto the mrs and i have organised to have the 10 day Easter/Anzac weekend next year.

Original plan was to head up to Exmouth but with the caravan parks either booked or not wanting to give us a price we went to plan b, Port gregory. But they are also fully booked.

Where else is worth trying? Dont really want to do Kalbarri as we're trying to not have to fish off rocks and i know theres no way the mrs will do the kalbarri channel to the ocean in the tinny.
Pretty much we need a caravan park, be close to very fishy tinny friendy water and also have enough touristy stuff to keep us entertained.
Cheers

What about Blowholes beach north of Carnarvon? Toilets, boat ramp, but take your own drinking water, and I don't think there's showers. Easy access from North West HWY. If you're a bit more adventerous, Gnaraloo or Redbluff. Both have toilets, 3 mile camp at Gnaraloo is a bit steep from memory at $18 per night per person just to camp. Magic country though.
Shark Bay would be another great option with the tinny.

Shark bay, coral bay is fully booked.

If it were just me i'd be loading up the tinny and camping in the ute, but with the mrs in tow i need to keep her happy too haha.
Dont really want to have to start loading up the ute with water/fuel/eskies etc as its only a 2.8 hilux

Jurian is just down the rd for entertainment and you will be surprised on the size of sqid you can get into.
The Macs come in close chasing the big big herring.
Also tinny friendly you wont have to go out far to find bommys early before win ;) ds drop in.

Go South they said!! Walpole has it all for tinny fisherman. Except Spanish Macks.... Walpole house great accommodation. Drive through yard and near boat ramp/town etc. Went during sand whiting time and loved it.

Well froze my nuts off on the rocks for nothing this morning so came home early, jumped on the computer in search of somewhere to stay.

After being put off by seriously stupid campsite prices i decided that a house would be the way to go. Somewhere for the mrs to chill out so i can head out wide.
Ended up booking a place in Kalbarri for the 19th-26th of april for $560 which isnt too bad i reckon.

Its been about 8yrs since ive been up there and the mrs has never been so i should be able to find a few touristy things to keep her happy. Bird park, gorges, lucky bay...... Anything else worth looking into?
