Anyone know if the scalies are still around anywhere, are there any around the ammo jetty? Thinking I might try one evening during the week.

Haven't been out to look but where the mussle barge parks up next to the causeway used to always hold them this time of year. Not good boating weather unfortunately.

Have a look at Coogee Marina, either off the little jetty next to the massive house or the rocks near the jetty, in the canal, not the ocean. Plenty being caught there when I had a look yesterday arvo, along with some school whiting.

Cheers fellas tried ammo jetty but toooo many blowies, so
so tried Rocko yacht club jetty. Got 65 in about an hour and a half.

Council chopped it off wasn't deemed safe anymore, looks like it is slowly be dismantled..

I think it is still owned by the Fremantle Ports authority and since it is not commercially useable it is hard to see them building it back up, the council would need to get involved again I guess
