Looking for a spot to go for a flick with my mate in the morning, just light gear for a bit of fun, whiting or what ever. Just as long as there isn't butter fish is what he tells me.

Any suggestions ?

if you head down to the mandurah estuary there are good whiting to be found.
Should hopefully find them around safety bay and in warnbro sound along the shore in the shallower areas. give the hardbodies a go! youll be hooked.

If you want flick some hard bodies there's always a few Flatties around the river.
Claremont flats, Point Walter, either side of Canning bridge.

yeah, bit far for a before breakfast fish, might give Canning bridge a go on Saturday,
just cut the terrbles of a few hard bodies and putting some assist hooks on instead.

Try the south-east side of Canning bridge for Flatties. Otherwise the bridge itself for rat bream. Better on turn of the tide IMHO.
I live with fear everyday, but sometimes she let's me FISH!
