"Good evening.

Yesterday, one of the most brutal terrorist attacks to hit our soil took place. At the second general election debate, at which I was present, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Peter Smythe, walked out on stage and had a disagreement with the moderator, Martin Freeman. At a later interval, Mr. Smythe walked back out and began to beat the moderator up. Several other members of the audience rushed up on the stage and began to join in, which is when I was removed - along with the Labour leader.

Whilst I was travelling back to Downing Street, I heard that the moderator had been set on fire and that the Islamic State was claiming responsibility for the attack. I immediately ordered for airports to be closely monitored, Mr. Smythe's passport revoked and the passports of his known associates revoked and for the military to be on alert.

Martin Freeman was a loving father of two and caring husband. He was a figure that gripped our television sets for over three decades whilst preventing the evening news. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest condolences to Martin Freeman and his family. I would also like to pay tribute to the one hundred and twelve people already confirmed dead who died in the subsequent fire.

Let me take this moment to say, and I mean it unlike some of my predecessors, we will track down the culprit - Peter Smythe - and we will bring him to justice. The terror group that he works for, ISIS, will also pay for their actions in the UK. They must know that if they take the life of a British citizen they will not get away with it. I am due to chair a COBRA meeting shortly.

Thank you very much. May God be with the families and friends of the victims and all those affected."
