Name: Nikita Sajeev Committee: Health and Human Services Subject: Medical Infrastructure Proposed by: The People’s Republic of Bangladesh The General Assembly, 1) 1. Guided by the fact that more than one billion people lack access to sufficient health care 2) systems, 3) 2. Alarmed by a weakening medical infrastructure that is affecting thousands of innocent lives 4) around the world, 5) 3. Deeply concerned by the fact that in many developing countries like our own, less than 2% 6) of the GDP spent on health care is government funded, 7) 4. Bearing in mind that the world population is predicted to climb to 9 billion by 2050, 8) 5.Cognizant that the medical infrastructure affects people in many ways including through 9) social aspects and work aspects, 10) 6. Observing that several developing countries including Nicaragua and Afghanistan have 11) insufficient medical infrastructures like ours, 12) 7. Noting with deep concern that, in terms of Bangladesh, there is a severe shortage of 13) medical professionals, mostly because of the inconvenient locations of clinics, 14) 8. Realizing that there is a teacher-student gap at many medical institutions where the quality 15) of health care can be lost, 15) 9. Recalling the steps the UN took to help solve this crisis through the suggestion of creating 16) a multi-sectoral approach for improvement of health care systems, 17) 10. Fully aware that there is international development assistance guiding countries to 18) reconstruct their medicare systems, 19) 1. Calls for more Government-aided assistance for problems regarding the medical 20) infrastructure and a mandate requiring every government to set apart at least 2% of their 21) GDP for the improvement of healthcare systems; 22) 2. Approves of the aforementioned international development assistance helping developing 23) countries rebuild their medical infrastructures; 24) 3. Further recommends the relocation of several medical clinics to a more accessible location 25) for the majority of the rural population in all developing countries; 26) 4. Encourages first-world countries to send experienced medical professionals to help bridge the 27) quality gap between teacher and student at several medical institutions in developing 28) countries; 30) 5. Requests more financial aid so all medical infrastructures shall be reliable by the time all 31) country’s population and poverty percentages skyrocket in the future; 32) 6. Endorses the union among nations helping everyone lead a better life and have the 33) promise of a better medical future. |

I think your formatting got messed up when you pasted your resolution, but apart from that, it looks great. You were pretty specific in your operative clauses, which, I believe, is the most important aspect of the resolution. Pass |
