Name: Timothy Lin
Committee: Global Security
Subject: Terrorism
Proposed By: Taiwan (ROC)
ID#: 283598

The General Assembly:

1) Aware of the domestic and international problems with terrorism attack across the world,

2) Noting concerns with multiple countries within the UN, terrorized by terrorists, especially in
3) the Middle East and America,

4) Alarmed at the rate of terrorism events occurring across the world,

5) Aware of Counter Terrorism options the nations could do, finding options applicable to all,

6) Noting complete cleansing of terrorists is nearly impossible; due to the large population of
7) radicals round the world involved with terrorism,

8) Bearing the facts of terrorism in Eastern Asia and Taiwan, not the Middle East that have
9) begun to resurge in strength against the world,

10) Recognizing those that are struggling due to these terrorism conflicts, and those that can
11) manage through the problems,

12) 1.Supports a smaller presence of Counter-Terrorism, and in return going and finding more
13) covert groups that aren’t prominent in the news and propaganda

14) 2.Calls out the Security Council to support assistance for developing countries to be assisted in their
15) attempts to try and holster terrorism,

16) 3.Approves of plans to start up counter-terrorism plans for smaller, struggling UN countries,

17) 4. Encourages UN countries with support toward counter-terrorism to begin and search
18) through their countries for dissentients of terrorism

19) 5. Urging developing countries to prepare for more problems within their countries, and to
20) develop support against terrorism, not just against local enemies.

21) 6.Accepts the previous UN reactions to terrorism

22) 7.Promotes previous methods of counteracting terrorism in the Middle East, including the US
23) invasion across the East,

24) 8.Emphasizes particular risks with certain methods, like entering total war or offering and
25) dealing with terrorists to reach a "peaceful trade",

26) 9.Further recommends plans to improve connections with terrorist stricken towns to try and
27) assist their needs to oust the terrorists.

Revise

There's nothing wrong with the content, however the formatting is a little off.

Declaratory clauses (lines 1-11) should always end with a comma (,), rather than a period as is the case in line 11.

Operative clauses (lines 12-27) should always begin with an underlined verb and end with a semicolon (;). They are also numbered separately, so for instance, an operative clause could look like:

Quote:

25) 4. Authorizes the creation of a committee to manage, regulate, and price
26) banana exports in Central American nations over the next two years;

Fix that and you're good to go.
