Resolution #2 Terrorism - Thomas Lin

The General Assembly
1) Aware of the threat Terrorism poses to the international community,
2) with acts of terrorism breaching quintessential human rights, as well as,
3) the influence of terror groups increasing dramatically utilizing social media
4) in order to enlist more fighters into their group.

5) Concerned of the spread of terrorist organizations, with minimal ability
6) to identify and determine the difference between a terrorist organization
7) and a non-terrorist organization,

8) Convinced that there is no justification for any form of an act of terrorism,

9) Taking into account that acts of terrorism may happen in many methods,
10) such as biological, or technological acts of terrorism, but that terrorism
11) is a attack psychologically to it’s target as it is physically and economically,

12) Recognizing that terrorism will never be abolished as it is an idea rather a
13) tangible part of society,

14) Having considered the toll of intervention into war against terror,

15) Guided by the definition taken by certain countries that,
16) Terrorism is where an act of terrorism is committed,

17) Aware of the world’s focal point of terrorism currently in the Middle East,

18) Taking note, that the Middle East isn’t where all terrorists are situated in,

19) 1. Accepts counter-terrorism actions taken by countries such as the United States
20) to quell terrorism from the Middle East and in other countries;

21) 2. Supports international actions to prevent terrorism by violating human rights;

22) 3. Recommends further action be taken by the international community,
23) to suppress the action and spread of terrorist groups and their extremist disposition;

24) 4. Affirms that Terrorism will never be fully suppressed, rather the groups committing
25) the acts of terrorism are being suppressed;

26) 5. Trusts that one day Terrorism will become clarified and controlled to a point where,
27) it poses minimal harm to society;

28) 6. Expresses it’s hope in which Terrorism will pose no threat to human rights,
29) and that individuals influenced by extremist thoughts will not commit acts of terrorism
30) which will fracture rights every human has and deserves.

Your operative clauses seem a bit ambiguous. While they are specific, they're not actually doing anything. Most of it is defining terrorism and hoping for a solution someday - this is a UN Security Council resolution, you are more than welcome to take harsh steps. For instance, penalizing nations that fund terrorist groups, issuing official condemnations of terrorist groups, creating a committee to deal with terrorist threats, etc. Add something with a tangible effect and you'll be good to go.

One last nitpicky thing - the first declaratory clause of yours ends with a period rather than a comma. I'm sure it was pure mistake, but I just thought I'd let you know. ;)
