Name: Brandon Hong Committee: Global Security Subject: Illegal Drug Trafficking Proposed by: Taiwan THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, 1)Recalling that illegal drug trafficking is becoming 2)more prevalent across the world 3)than in 1988 when the United Nationsfirst took action, 4)Noting with deep concern how first world 5)countries choose to ignore this problem, 6)Observing that second and third world country 7)citizens becoming victims to the 8)illegal drug trafficking world, 9)Recognizing whatever the government (New Zealand and Australia) 10)attempts to enforce upon them 11)does not have any effect on the system, 12)Bearing in mind that illegal trafficked drugs 13)have a huge impact on those whom traffick the drugs across 14)oceans to another country, and to whom 15)the drugs are distributed to, 16)Alarmed by how ringlords of drug distribution 17)traffick the drugs, by means of unwary people 18)along with physically assaulted people, 19)Aware of the fact that the United Nations 20)have emplaced past laws, countries 21)are unable to successfully make the law 22)become prevalent in present day society 23)1. Affirms the law that the United Nations 24)created back in 1988, 25)2.Encourages the first world countries to start 26)taking action by becoming more involved 27)with the second and third world countries 28)3. Urges second and third world countries 29)to focus on stopping drug trafficking 30)before it can reach the destination, 31)4. Encourages more countries to become more involved 32)by supporting the already suffering countries. 33)5. Requests made towards the world to increase 34)realization on how to prevent citizens from becoming 35)targets towards drug lord leaders by becoming more aware, 36)and to be more cautious when traveling abroad, 37)6. Urges the world to consider illegal drug trafficking 38)a more serious matter, so that people will refrain such action 39)creating safer environments and lives for everyone, 40)7.Trusts that the United Nations will accordingly 41)create another solution in further attempt to deal 42)with the uprising problem of illegal drug trafficking.
