 Three Hundred years have passed since the events of ALIENS, and the galaxy is indeed a different place. Communication with the Predators was established recently after a Yautja warrior witnessed a human marine actually hunt down a Praetorian and butcher it like a pig with his newly-designed laser rifle, partially based off stolen Yautja plasma cannons. Now, relations have grown to the point that minimal trade has even started, although the two parties rarely meet face-to-face, there is peace. It is not known however, that if this is either due to that Humanity is now a group to lethal to be hunted, or one that has been deemed an honorable ally. Whatever the problems this shaky alliance faces, they both have a common enemy, the Xenomorphs, Aliens, Serpents, Demons, they all go by so many names but are the same lethal species. They have evolved as much as the relations between humans and the Yautja has, gaining the ability to copy useful parts of their host's memory enabling them to even use guns (with poor effectiveness and often injuring their own) should they ever come across one. Now they will even use elements in their environment as crude weapons rather than fight with tooth and claw, many drones are fans of the useful rusty pipe. But now, now a new era begins for the Xenomorphs. The descendant of the fabled 'Mr. Weyland' has been studying Xenomorphs, especially facehuggers, for nearly a decade. In a cruel twist of fate, the thirty-three year-old Johnathon Bishop Weyland was infected by a facehugger when he forget to seal the container. Now a fully-grown Warrior awakens from its slumber, with the consciousness of Johnathon Weyland controlling it. SETTING- Well of course, this takes place in the future of the AvP universe, and also takes place on the moon of Acheron LV-426, now terraformed to a level near that of a tropical rainforest, to the point it's nearly overrun with foliage and animals. There are many large port cities scattered about the moon, with the maximum building height of around a thousand feet, those damn colonists however just seem to like diggin' tunnels, as what would be a skyscraper (a three-thousand foot building) is mostly underground. Vehicles have largely stayed the same and changed little, just imagine the ships are now like what we see in Halo, with MAC cannons and a few plasma-based weaponry. Countries are now obsolete, humanity is now governed by the UNITED SYSTEMS, a lot like the United Nations, except they actually get shit done. There are many companies, however Weyland-Yutani is the largest and effectively IS the government, as it holds so much stock in the USM (United Systems Military) that they effectively OWN the USM and they serve as W-Y's own private army. Yautja will occasionally set foot on human colonies, but assume for every million humans on a heavenly body that there's one Yautja. Most also use cloaking, so the greater portion of human civilization is oblivious to them. Now as for Xenomorphs, they're actually quite common in labs owned by W-Y, but are guarded by small armies of Androids as to prevent any escapes. OH, that brings up another fact, Androids are now used as shock troopers and can only be overpowered by a Xenomorph or a Yautja, they're FAR stronger than humans. They're also a tad bit more aware and are now equipped with an extra echolocation sub-sytem along with their 'ears', making it damn easy to spot Xenomorphs. Human weaponry is also far more powerful, with the standard rifle being a laser one capable of blasting a surgical hole through nearly any un-shielded surface. The only negative about lasers is that certain classes of Xenomorphs and have grown immune to the weapons by growing an extra layer of silicon crystals that absorb and redirect energy-based weaponry around their bodies. The layer can be destroyed, but it typically takes an entire clip. (The classes that have evolved are Queens, Praetorians, warriors, and hive warriors. Drones and runners are fodder.) And as for realism, lasers are largely invisible and if they do appear, they are an arc of light that can even blind a person for several seconds. It should be also noted that the character of Mr. Weyland is a powerful figure with a great deal of influence who is also behind many amoral decisions and experiments that got a great deal of people killed. However, Mr. Weyland is not the leader of W-Y, rather, he is a lead scientist and rarely dives into the financial world. So most people hate him secretly, although Androids, well androids are androids. Predators find him disgusting. PLAYABLE SPECIES- Xenomorphs- There can be two other xeno's who can be both sentient and sapient like the Weyland one who received the copied memories, mind, and emotions of their host. I will limit the total PC xenomorphs to four fight now, for obvious reasons. And no, no queens. But there can be Predaliens. Yautja/Predators- Two, nuff' said. They're fuckin juggernauts who can bulldoze a Queen. Androids- Infinite, though I'd prefer that rather than being LOLSHOCKERTROOPAZ you be a worker owned by W-Y, and no, they all lack rights. Hell, try putting that into your character, make them the first sentient android or something. Humans- Four marines, that's it. Infinite scientists and civilians though. Rules- I am OP and I am God. If I want to kill off your char for plotz, I will TG you and come up with an original idea and yes, you can make a new char. To compromise, I might even let you have a position of power. Like maybe they become a sapient xeno if they get dragged away. He has developed the ability to speak the Human language, though poorly. He is smarter than the average Yautja, but is physically weaker than most (still stronger than humans, of course). Rank: Elite Predator Bio: La'quata was raised to hunt Xenomorphs, as are all of the Yautja. But unlike his brethren, he developed a propensity for his camoflague, effectively using it instead of relying on brute force. He dislikes the Yautja concept of 'honor', instead fighting for a much baser need...food...or entertainment, as the case may be. So he roams the galaxies, still taking orders from the homeworld, but also in contact with the humans, taking contracts and money/prey from the population. Homeworld: (POB) ? Kinda lulzy at that, a bit of the twist. Although many humans will be butchered, they're far more powerful and the Xenomorphs will have to evolve their fighting technique in order to survive. Using less ZOMG THERE'S A FUCKING HORDE! and more stuff like in the AVP game, a single guy rushes forward and picks one guy off. Also, the plot will center around poor Dr. Weyland, trapped in the head of a xenomorph, trying to survive in the empire he helped create, which wants to now vivisect him. Kinda like they're all on equal footing now. And I might even throw in a Space Jockey, but NOT as a Deus Ex Machina. |
