Whether you are traveling or staying close to home, I wish you all a Happy Memorial Day and weekend!

Above all else, please remember those who gave their lives for us in the service of their countries. May they all rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon them!

I wish all those who have lost someone in war solace today...they have made the world a better place and we need to keep it and ourselves safe. And celebrate those who have returned from defending and spreading the ideals of the United States of America around the world...they have earned a special place in history.

Just found out two days ago my next door neighbor's son is going back to Iraq for a third tour.

It's good we have fine young men like Jonathan who go where sent and do what's asked without question but I certainly hope the reward is worth the risk.

I hope his mother won't worry toooooo much about him over there....

because of all the "bad guys out there" wanting to take our:

lives
freedom
petty cash
cars
children
FAITH
(fill in the blank)

someone ... somewhere ... someTIME has to STAND in THE GAP.

and this goes for all the police fire and rescue folks as well ... giving their lives so others could live.

God bless them ALL on their special day to be remembered and thanked.

And that goes double for all the WWII vets.

:usa: :ca: :gb: :au: :nz:

Nearly all of them are gone now, so while we have a bit 'moore' TIME with them, thanks fellas for giving us the BEST your youth had to offer. We will never forget!

Amen to all of the above.

It's D-Day soon, and I keep thinking about all of the men in boats who didn't know how to swim...
