For those of you in Great Britain or anybody who is able to access the 4OD website to watch channel four programs, this was worth a looksee: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/three-i...bed/4od#3073849 Three in a Bed is about people who run Bed and Breakfast/Guest Houses that check out each other's places and criticise them. So why am I posting it here, you ask? Well, last week's episode featured a 5 star Guest House with themed rooms, and one room was sci-fi themed, and had a dalek and a tardis in it! The guy who ran the place also dressed in the typical attire of the 4th Doctor when he visited the other places. It was quite a sight. I would absolutely love to stay there, but it was an astronomical £300 a night!!! Well worth a watch to see his place. Actually, I might try and find his website...(be back if I find it!) Found a piccie: ![]() And here's a page about it: http://www.iknow-northeast.co.uk/accommoda...nd_b-durham.htm More piccies: ![]()

The owner of this guest house has created some magnificent rooms - I also like the cinema themed room with a huge projector screen to watch your DVDs on and a popcorn machine, etc. Imagine having a Doctor Who marathon weekend watching episode after episode in there! I'd quite love to live there, but the owner spent £2,000,000 (2 million squids, so we understand each other) doing the place up! The showers were mega-technical with flashing lights and buttons that made noises - very sci-fi! |

Does the Cyberman scrub your back? Just kidding....but I'd be a little intimidated to see a full size whatever of a Cyberman in the loo...

I'd be nervous if the shower had the same pattern as the glass behind the Keeper on Traken but it is a lovely design I'd consider swiping for a project. |
