Like the phrase "story state of mind" - I may have to steal that.

I mean, I feel a story coming on, and as a matter of fact I have
started one, but I'm not sure where it's going to go or
when it will be finished.

But get your hose ready, wombat, just in case,
as you may actually need it.

Meanwhile, it's back to the itchy and scratchy show.

Ho, hum.

I'm just polishing off my second bottle of Calamine lotion.

Cheers! (rolls eyes)

And the strawberry stains are still there.

Otherwise, the roof is almost repaired. :excited:

Great to hear you're returning to your normal health, Stitch. :beaverhug: I wish you the best of health always. May you never have to got thru this ordeal again. Take care, my friend. :bye:

Oh, dear--are you still having very many aftereffects of this?

You sound to be in good spirits. I do hope you are on the other side of this thing.

Take care of yourself!

Thank you for your kind words. :bye:

From what I've read, it can take months, even years to get
over this. I think I'm doing well though, so far. At this stage
it's just annoying. I have some tingling, some itching, and
occasional stabbing pain, but since I have chronic pain already,
it's just kind of like a new addition to the chorus.

No aloe compounds to help sooth your skin Stitch???

I'm happy the roof here is fixed as we're getting our usual monsoon downpours now between 3:30 and 7. Though tonight's was late at 8 pm. Just in the nick of time. :umbrella:

I've been trying to find some decent and affordable aloe products,
but haven't seen any so far locally.

On the other hand,
according to what I've read, some people
actually find aloe quite irritating to the skin.

Anyway, as I don't wish to venture out into the fiery furnace,
I've been doing without the Calamine, and seem to be doing
all right. Later, I'll probably get some, because it sure comes in handy!

good thoughts sent your way everyday.

:wombathug: :beaverhug: :polarbear:

BTW can you buy your own aloe plant, cheaply? like maybe at a local farmer's market? then you would know if your skin likes it or not. if not, you could re-sell it to someone WHO does.

I once used Aloe for a massive burn to the right side of my face. The burn was caused by dying my hair platiunum blonde and my facial hair platinum blonde with peroxide. It was 6 years ago. The Aloe was magic! It got rid of the burn and there was no scarring whatsoever.

I hope you are able to cure your condition soon, Stitch. I hope you can find something in the meantime to lessen the pain. Like P.A., I send you the best wishes as well.
