hadto be at the hospital for 1 today mum had some more blood tests took and then had to see the dr he was happy that the steroids have worked and mums platlets have gone up to 90which he said he good as mum has only been taking the steroids since last week he said they could go up even more by the time next monday comes but to make sure mum has got to go back to the hospital on friday foranother blood test to see if they have gone up any more .the dr said he would have likes them to be 100 and i said it well could be that by the time next week comes so all being well and there are no hicups then mum will be having her operation on the 16th.she will have to call the ward that she will be on on sunday at 3pm to see what time she will have to go in on the monday if its early o monday then mum will have to go in on the sinday night.we was late going to see the dr as they were running late 1pm was the time to be there so mum could be weighed and have a blood test before seeing the dr at 130 but it was 230 before we got to see him and by then mum was getting tired and her back was playing up as she cant sit for long with her spine so she was glad to get in there and be out so mum could go to bed when she got homeso now she is fast as a rock in lullaby land at the moment.will let you all know what is going on when we have to ring on sunday at 3pm. and id just like to say a huge thank you to you all for the kind words and your supprort though out these last few weeks |

Wa-hoo!!! WA-double-HOO!!! That is such encouraging news, Tracy. At last, something is going right! Remember... when you show a positive attitude to your mum, it helps to keep your spirits up, too! Hugs all around.
