BBC announced last week that they have 6 episodes of SJS to air, but will not continue with the series following the passing of Elizabeth Slader.

I'm still in shock that Sladen has left us, but delighted that there's still a bit of her work left that I haven't yet seen. I've only seen season one of SJA, so still some anticipation left.

It's got to be strange for actors like Tom to have their numbers come down like this. For example, Lalla Ward and Janet Fielding never worked together, but they have become very chummy through conventions.

That's great we get the last episodes of her series. Such a shame it will be over though - it looks like a fun program from what I've viewed.

Its is good, and to be fair I think it could continue without her. That might seem a little cold, but there where numerous episodes last Season that didn't feature SJS and her "son".

I think you're right. This is Doctor Who, right? Anything is possible. Sarah could turn out to be a closet time lord, or maybe regeneration rubs off, or maybe she has a daughter that she never revealed who shows up to solve the mystery of what happened to her, or maybe she was cloned without her knowledge, or, or, ... And I don't think that she would mind. It's nice to be remembered, especially as fondly as she is.

You know, I was just looking at the pictures from the SJS series and thinking that in those pictures the way she looks reminds me a little bit of Diana Rigg in The Avengers--you know, very strong.

And here's some, 'way too much information:' Patrick Macnee, now 90 years old, who played Steed in that show is an "ardent nudist." I never knew that before. :imfao:
