Hope you don't mind the thread Kovo, but it seems there was someone playing around while everyone was away: *Hex lifted his head, nostrils flaring to the alluring scent of females and destruction. Even more beautiful than stories told, that faint trace of human corruption across the land. The timber wolf perked his hears forward, brown eyes gazing towards the Wolfspirits land with great ambition and promise. Not far off from what could be guessed as a once strong border, the male started to storm forward with powerful strides. Dark fur stood out among snow, yet blended with the shadows, the timber wolf slithered to the edge of the lands, halting at the border. He lowered his head, inhaling the dying aroma of passing patrols. The affects of humans are a beautiful one when they cross his desires. But now came that all too important question. Take or leave? *Hex Too wonderful an opportunity to pass, considering what he heard, and if injured didn't succumb with human aide his fangs could finish. Ears drawn forward, the new land was quiet, void of life in this golden moment. Ah, but how rude to barge in and demand at once, a good introduction or prologue to the events needed to be in order. Prologue for a prologue. Inspection for the future. He moved inward, nostrils flaring and ears waving to this land - secrets it held within. How could a wolf not love it already! The blossoming plants, booming life of prey, and of course the clear abundance of fine females. Perhaps a dozen different scents, ranging from fresh to old, more than sufficient amounts with feminine flare. *Hex slithered his way through the dark shadows of the trees, his timber coat blending well with the mixtures of shadows and light filtering through the leaves. A slight pause. A lifted snout. Hopefully the bloody smell did not mean too horrible of fates for this pack. His movements brought him to the source, a clearing, and from the waterfall of scents the place of action to this pack. Human scents mixed in with blood, a glorious plague that would have to be dealt with. Given the story of scents, prior leadership had not done well. Alas, time runs short on the dying day. Mark a few trees and turn towards whence you came strong male. They shall all know of you in time. His exit was more rushed than his entrance, eager to plan the coming days. When at last he left, his scent lingered, tortured, and warned of the coming plight. His. |

April 17th, 2012 * Hex observed everything. A viewpoint from a higher hill seems fitting as he looked down upon that lustrous land. More males to come? Shame they had to go. What bigger threat of authority be a bear to that. Alas, time was fleeting as the sun told. He rose to his paws, the dark timber wolf scanning what lay before him as he set off. His tail flickered higher behind him as he started to approach the border. Now a pause for thought. Recall the scent of the land with flaring nostrils, remember your scent that still lingered from before. Joy be it at that if it could stay forever as it would. Taste the air with an open maw and listen for what was occurring. This wouldn't do well to have so many about in the land, but one must play nice if things are to go well. Changing his demeanor his tail dropped and ears laid back with a lowered skull. He started forward, the bulky timber wolf moved towards the heart of the commotion. * Etienette softly dipped her maw to Wild in return, happy to of been able to have more support in this rescue. She would settle to the left of the three males, her orbs resting on Night as she carefully scanned him in silence. Despite his take down from, that awful smelling metal twig that had made him sleep, he seemed fine. That eased her some, she needed strength in where she lacked. She was small, and had speed to her advantage as well as smarts but she lacked in blunt force. * Nightstalker stared at Mactire a moment, there wouldn't be much scent as the only contact he had was the dart. His eyes narrowed slightly at the comment "Your point?" He wasn't fully himself, the attacks on the pack have triggered his agression switch. * Mactire the smell of another male would bring his nose to attention but he was currently surrounded by those directly to him and kept his attention just. "You where not taken?" * Hex fought to slither through the trees in silence. Step on a twig here, accidentally bump into that bush. A more timid nature it seemed, or perhaps just a bit clumsy, but his skills in such natures were quite rusty. But, that was behind him now as the clearing from trees started to reach before him with each pawstep. No doubt the others have by now scented him, he understood that they made little movement given what occurred. What a perfect time to observe. He broke through, skull lowered when he saw the others. His tail tucked beneath his frame as he started to crawl towards the wolves, letting out soft whines in submission but one would not venture too close. Things seemed tense. It felt good. * Nightstalker glanced to Eti when the male asked his question before looking back to the male. "My guess would be no", his patience thin, he is barely containing the rage that has built within, the effects of the tranquilizer keeping him in balance, for the moment. * Etienette her orbs soon shifted to where the new scent was coming from, her hackles immediately daring to rise as she pushed upon all four paws. She would move past those gathered, her stance taking it's place as her tail rose and harks jetted forward once more. The scent of him was familiar, she knew of it from the trees that seemed to hold it. "You" she called to him, almost dark though she had no time for games. It was a new side to her but she kept herself balanced, and found herself looking back to Night for a moment. She could sense his state, and she wouldn't blame him for such but it was now her job to keep things in order, to take lead.. * Nightstalker turned his head to gaze at yet another new comer. He moved passed the other two, to position himself beside Eti as she faced the stranger. * Hex calm to a halt, pause and freeze motions. Oh, what a pretty face this one had. A good right hand mate she would make, next to the others of course. Spoiling bloodlines is awful. "My name is Hex." A sincere voice to a wretched name. Ah, but what trust could he gain on a false name. "If it isn't much trouble, may I ask who I am addressing?" He never rose from his submissive state, trying to lure the fae and her friends into a calm sense of security he wouldn't attack. And why would he attack be it doubts in thought? Outnumbered without a reputation, gaining worse be worse. Wait to hear. * Mactire his eyes would fall to Hex now and he kept his position just. His muscles would tense as he watched the other male with curious hues. Who was this? Clearly not welcome by Etienette's posture.. * Etienette would hold her stance firm, tail bristled behind her as her digits tore into the ground beneath her some. She had an odd bitter thought for newcomers ever since the events with Loke. Especially males. "I am Etienette, Beta in training to the WolfSpirits Pack.. The lands you walk upon, belong to my mentor and Alpha, Kovo" she said, her voice inked in a deep tone. She was not eased, not the slightest as she took note to his submissive state. A meer mask she was thinking, but she could not jump to conclusions, she would wait. "Why are you here, what purposes do you have?" she would ask him that, pick away at what words he would speak to her. She knew Night was next to her, and that was the support she would need, she thought that to herself. To a male, of large size at that she was almost easy prey. * Nightstalker stood to his full height beside Eti as they faced the male named Hex. If the male had hoped to set them into a state of calmness, he would be sorely disappointed. His pale blue eyes locked onto Hex as he kept his defensive posture next to Eti, whom he lightly bumped reassuringly with his shoulder. * WildtierSeele would remain watching the new wolf, he was a bit on edge now after what happened to the pack and would not move his gaze from the wolf. * Hex imagined himself disappointed at hearing such a title, but who would show that to the title. No, sadly this one would have to die. Looked easy enough, but not now, when time fitted the purpose. Such a shame to do such to the fellow lupine form; ends justify the means. Such a popular and fitting phrase. Ah, now to speak, make good use of words. "I uh.. was hoping to join." Smart tactic old fella - figuratively old - a false stumble made real. "My last pack fell to humans and I came here earlier but no one was around so I thought it would be better if I left and tried again later." Perhaps some things were salvageable here to a decent pack. The one beside dead to be might have to go too, or submit, but he didn't seem phased, too. The other hanging back, ah, what trouble, fluff of tails and he'd submit to his will. * Mactire he watched what was going on and kept an eye on the happenings. He would remain the quiet observer but would move if need be.. * Etienette huffed some, narrowing her orbs as she'd begin to circle the male, a tactic she once watched Kovo do. Yes, this was the male she had scented alright. Her nose would barely brush his pelt while she continued to take in scents, her posture remaining as it was. "Your scent, has been marked throughout some patches of trees.." she said, rising her head as she'd now be to his left. She was suspicious of him, what wolf in their right mind.. Would mark their presence upon another's lands? Suicide, yes.. That, is what it was. * WildtierSeele would continue to watch the others around him, glancing to night for just a moment before turning his gaze back to the new wolf. he wanted this thing sorted out, he needed to help the others. * Hex enjoyed such conversions. Oh, yes, the passive battles of subtext were a great adrenaline rush that would play out as nervous fear, looking towards the wolves before him. But of course they were marked, how else to ensure the scent loomed around. As she walked, such a beautiful frame, no matter skinny and weak. Play the cards well, royal flush to get something before the clean murder. Approach the new one? He'll rear back in fear to the obvious member. Come now, why so tense towards him and not the other new wolf? He didn't show any of his intentions to kill them, now did he seem to have the ability with such a form or apparent state of mind? Hardly so. Hardly so sweet victims. "Ah, yes, I'm so sorry for that and all I uh.." Pause not from search to find an excuse, pause ashamedly, one didn't mean such offense. "My old pack had a large land and we'd travel around it often together, spending different nights in different places. It was a habit of everyone to mark where we'd been to keep the territory so large." * Etienette narrowed her orbs all the more, listening to him as she huffed and returned beside Night. She was not about to go and spill the beans about their pack being torn apart from humans. "All are welcome to stay here.. Though if you are to step out of line, upon the lands of ours.. You will be removed, whether by asking or force" she said. Her small but puffy, well built and scarred frame twitched lightly against the rippling of her muscles while she dared not to move her orbs from the male. She had no other words to speak, and somewhat nudged her side to Night's against his stance. She knew he was uneasy, it mirrored her own feelings. * Nightstalker remained silent during the whole things. His pale blue eyes never once leaving the male. He had determined that the other stranger was not a threat, but something about this new wolf had him on edge, as if that was even possible after recent events. * WildtierSeele would look away a moment, though watching him in the edge of his eye, if etie is ok with him, he guessed he could be, kinda." greetings." he would mumble, not yet trusting him. "hey Etie, if i may.." he would stop before padding closer, not wanting the new wolf to hear." please, when will we begin the search." he said as quietly as he could, his voice filled with worry. * Hex nodded his skull, glancing between the two. Would he have to excuse himself now or- oh glorious timing foolish one. Certainly he'd work well as a mindless lackey if he kept this up, or a dead snitch if he kept too much up. "Search for what?" He asked timidly, cowering backward to show a good fear he overstepped his bounds. Ah, what fun things were becoming, if only better would it be but, no, not till later dates. * Etienette shifted her gaze to Wild, listening to his quiet words as she smiled some. His worry for the pack was all too obvious by his features. "We will begin after I can rally whatever others are left, I will hold a meeting of such, when we have a fair number" she spoke lightly. "It will be soon though" she added in a hushed tone. Then as she listened to the male question what they were speaking of she tensed. "A member of our pack, has gone missing.. One or two will be moving out to find her" she said. She lied, yes she lied but she didn't feel at ease. Why would she even dare to blurt out what had happened? Especially in this season, especially.. With a newcomer. Perhaps if he proved to be as he said he was, she would open up to him but her trust was well clamped. |

* WildtierSeele would nod to etie, his ears still held back. then jumping to the sudden movement of etie, his eyes shooting to the new wolf. * Hex thought how amusing this was. She'll learn not to lie to him. No doubt guess a lie at tense forms, but know the truth from long observation. "I can help look, I was a good tracker in my old pack." Track a traitor, kill a traitor, lie and they believe. Such a fun little game everything was, especially the game of death. Couldn't you agree? She wouldn't agree. Receiving ends were less thrilling but there was a rush from the pain. Joyful rush. * Etienette narrowed her orbs once again to his words. "I appreciate your kindness, though I have already chosen a member to go in search of the other." she said, with a slight smile as her features seemed to tense on Night resting. Though she would remain where she was and keep her orbs on Hex, her posture not changing. * WildtierSeele would sit by etie, watching the other wolf, still not trusting it, something felt off with this one. he didn't know what to do now but keep an eye on the wolf. * Hex shifted his paws around. "Ah, yes, well call on me if you need a tracker." Light offer and dip of head to excuse himself from them. He would be around certainly, lingered and observing what happened around. Turn to leave, a weakness to expose his back to give her more confidence. Strike if you wish to die now. He glanced backward before continuing on. Certainly, he would get a fine prize before murdering her. That lithe and pretty form was almost too wonderful to resist. * Etienette smiled once more, nodding softly as she took to sitting next to Wild. She watched Hex's movements as she remained where she was, she made no move to attack or of the such. She was not of the type to go for one who was so easily to be brought down. She liked fair fighting, it was just how she was. Though if he were to try anything, by stepping out of line in his time here.. She would fight. She would fight for her family. * WildtierSeele would settle a bit as the other wolf would turn to leave, letting out a soft huff, wild wasn't one to let his family be in danger, and he was indeed a good fighter as he was trained by a good fighter, to protect those he cares for. * Hex moved out of slight. Once there he regained his posture before moving on. Good job ol boy, you've been invited to stay! Now to find the safe zone of this land with which to stay. Somewhere between the clearing and where humans left. That would do well to gain him favor. A good tree and he rested down. Things going well and accordingly to plan. |
