I have been thinking about the pace of the posts in this game, and can definitely see [time skip - activity] being a useful way to get out of mundane conversations that seem to be going nowhere

I encourage players to use this if the post is getting boring and you want to move scene. However I will also warn you that skipping over more than one scene could hamper your ability to progress in the future.

This game is partly mystery based, building contacts is vital to getting through the world. If you time skip you will be made aware of what your characters do. Although I will give a fair summary of events that occurred during the time skip, you will have lost your best opportunity to bond with the characters in your thread.

I will always advise asking at least one question to see if the character knows something that could be interesting to you, but you don't have to interact with every character that comes along.

Two examples of a time skip:

Example 1: (a good use of a time skip)

Spoiler: click to toggle

Example 2: (a bad use of a time skip)

Spoiler: click to toggle

If you do want to time skip I suggest messaging me about what you want to achieve with it, this will avoid hampering your characters interactions.
