Centuries ago, there was a dark world called Nex. Early on, the Xa'tac conquered it and converted nearly entire population into their skeletal servants. But when they kept searching the world, they realized there was something far more precious and dangerous than any of them suspected. A powerful magical artifact, rumored to be a Titan Re-Origination Device, was discovered on the planet and the local Xa'tac Deathlords began plotting new uses for it. With a weapon of such mass destruction in their hands, Deathlords of Xa'tac would be nearly undefeatable. Luckily for life in the galaxy, various deathlords turned on each other fighting over who gets the device. Finally, one night, the entire planet exploded in one massive blaze caused by improper use of the device. As the device was presumed destroyed along with the planet, the civilizations of the galaxy breathed with relief. However, one mystery remained - the moon of Nex. Its name lost to time, the icy moon was last seen orbiting the planet in its hour of doom. After Nex exploded, the moon was nowhere to be seen, long presumed destroyed in the inferno. However, recently probes from the Tower of Krasha discovered a small, icy body in Nex's solar system, orbiting its star on a highly elongated, eccentric orbit, knocked out of its position by the blast. Furthermore, there was a still active energy signature on its surface. One thing was clear: the Re-Origination Device was not destroyed. Whoever would possess it would wield unimaginable power, comparable only to the Titans. As Djedsuti tol'vir were investigating the object as well, they requested help from Anzulekk in scouring the place and properly deactivating the device, so that no one can use it to threaten the galaxy. Verroak Krasha, however, has different things in mind for it... |

You come out of the rift on a dark, cold place. You step on an ice so thick, it's as tough as rock. In the few faint lights around you, you can see shambling shapes of zombies wandering aimlessly around the devastated landscape. Beyond craggy peaks of splintered ice you see the contours of a pyramid, similar to the Halls of Origination in Uldum. Under the pyramid, faint lights of a few torches set up by the Djedsuti. ((Please declare which of your characters you're taking here. Yes, we already start on the other side.)) |

Menrim comes out of the rift in a coat made of camel fur, tucking his hands to his sides. That must be Khas's group. He looks around. Are those zombies? |

Jhuuton comes out in his usual shirtless attire. Cold doesn't scare demons. The Xa'tac were masters of undead creatures. It shouldn't surprise you. |

They used skeletons. They found zombies and other rotting, fleshy undead to be disgusting. These are zombies. |

This device didn't land here, it crashed. The zombies are probably what's left of the idiots who tried to use it back then. Reanimated without control. |

Karnak appears to be not wearing anything special - until you notice the fur rimmings of clothes he put under the armor. Well, this looks eerily familiar. The pyramid, I mean, not all the ice. |

It is somewhat odd your world has architecture so similar to ours. Are you sure there are no Titans there? |

Given a large enough sample, every pattern is bound to repeat itself sooner or later. And since we're talking about a sample several universes across... just coincidence. |

Stands quietly behind them all. Balerok was very busy packing. Had to be very prepared. |

Zombies. I don't like them. No life to drain, and no mind to scare. I hope they will not be much of an issue. |

They're just wandering around. We better go before they stumble into us. |

Balerok scientifically created zombies recently. Destroyed the research though. Too dangerous. |

I heard about a man who created zombies through science back in the Nexus. I think he was called Franksstein. |

After a short walk, you reach the entrance to the pyramid, the broken door covered in dust and gray snow. At the doorway stands a group of tol'vir in heavy, gleaming armor. One of them, in a ram helmet, turns to you and heads to Menrim. The helmet opens and mechanically folds back into the armor, revealing the black-furred head of Khas, Menrim's partner. Khas: Welcome, Menrim. We were just going to head in. |

They shake arms in a Djedsuti fashion - grabbing the other's arm almost at the elbow. Then Khas reaches out for an embrace. Menrim hesitates for a moment but ultimately follows through. They release the embrace moments later. What did you find out in the time you were here? |

Khas: It must be indeed a Titan Re-Origination Device. The area is populated by reanimated remains of the Xa'tac who attempted to activate it - and failed. We're reading many undead signatures deep within the structure. It will not be easy. I will have my men clear the way for us. He turns to the soldiers Tol'vir, kehol! The soldiers nod and head in. |
