Pearce was able to retain the vaunted "ten pounds of gold" and now goes into Stage Six, a TEXAS DEATH MATCH, on September 30 in Salem, OR for NWA West Coast Wrestling Connection. Cabana still leads the series 3-2; which means if Pearce loses one more match he will lose the title, the series, and must leave the NWA forever. - -- CHIKARA has revealed several of the first round matches for the King of Trios tournament set for September in Easton, PA. The lineup includes: * Scott "Jagged" Parker, Shane Matthews and Gran Akuma vs. Obariyon, Kobald and Kodama (The Batiri). * Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Manami Toyota vs. combatANT, deviANT and Soldier Ant (The Swarm) * Fire Ant, Green Ant, and assailANT (WInk Vavasseur's version of "The Colony") vs. Team Sendai Girls, DASH Chisako, Meiko Satomura and Sendai Sachiko. * Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, and Icarus (F.I.S.T.) vs. Kikutaro, Ebessan, and Takoyakida (Team Osaka Pro) King of Trios is scheduled for the weekend of 9/14 to 9/16 in Easton, PA. As of now, there is no confirmed release date. I'm sure you're all crushed. We reported yesterday that two new Chyna-led adult films from Vivid Entertainment are coming soon. Vivid is releasing the wrestling parody "Queen of the Ring" on September 4th and "The Sensational She Hulk: A Porn Parody". A sample of the She-Hulk cover has been posted online. The two are now working in Japan. Ross and Marshall are the two sons of the last surviving Von Erich brother, Kevin. While Marshall is wrestling barefoot similar to other Von Erichs, Ross has opted to do the opposite. According to Ross, "I don't really like being compared to my family too much. I'm just going through doors as they open. If it ends up not working out, something else will work out, just like it always does." According to their father, Kevin Von Erich, "You can't stay gun-shy and avoid contact or avoid disaster to the point of living your life any different. Kevin has allowed his sons to go into the wrestling business despite the tragic and heartbreaking past of their family. - -- Former TNA X Division and Tag Team Champions, Petey Williams and Alex Shelley, are scheduled to wrestle at "Grappolganza" for CLASH Wrestling tonight in Taylor, Michigan. The match will open the show as Shelley will have to fly out to California right after in order to make a Sunday show for New Japan Pro Wrestling. -- The LWF: Lucha Libre Spectacular will be featuring a roster of former WWE and American pro-wrestling stars for a tournament they have scheduled. On their official website they have confirmed appearances from Carlito, Chris Masters, Jacob Nova, former DGUSA champion Johnny Gargano, the ROH TV champion Adam Cole, Ricochet and Willie Mack. The tournament has dates of September 15, 22, and 29. LWF and El Jaguar De Colombia will feature the tournament to determine four new champions in the Heavyweight, Middleweight, Light Heavyweight and Latin American divisions. -- Almost four months after a very serious car accident, Buff Bagwell is scheduled to return to a wrestling ring tonight in a tag team match at Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling's Superbrawl event in Virginia. Bagwell's tag team partner is set to be former WWE and TNA wrestler, Matt Hardy. The event is a fundraiser for the Halifax County High School Athletic Department. Also set for the show is Scott Steiner vs. Gunner in the main event. And in the Ladies Title match it will be Matt Hardy's real-life girlfriend Reby Sky facing Jayme Jamison. - Dave Bautista (aka WWE's Batista) will be making his MMA debut against Rashid Evans (not the UFC fighter) on October 6th at The Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The fight will be televised on DirecTV on The CES Network (Classic Entertainment and Sports Promotions). The CES Network will be airing the event and will also produce a four part series on Bautista in anticipation of the event. The fight has only been cleared for the CES Channel. That means only about 17% of homes in the country will have access to watch the fight.
