Origin:

When Lord Trigon fooled Madame Xanadu into falling in love with him, in the guise of a young sorcerer name Harold Fate, Xanadu and Trigon produced a child. It quickly became clear to Xanadu that the pregnancy was strange, and upon discovering Harold's true identity, Xanadu was stricken with grief. Left to raise the child, she employed the help of the Phantom Stranger to block out Trigon's demonic influence from the children. No longer possessing his corrupted spirit, Andras was born with powers lend from both of his mystical parents.

Character Affiliation: Justice Academy.

Character Abilities:
  • Occultism: Andras has a great knowledge of all things occult and magical. This includes a great many spiritual and occult traditions and rituals, making it easy for him to identify these acts. Because of this, Andras is often used as a magic adviser during missions and is able to sense the presence of magical forces to successfully help his teammates.


Character Powers:
  • Sorcery: Andras has inherited the vast mystical powers of both his mother and father, making him a high order sorcerer capable of a number of magical feats. Due to the limitations placed on his powers by the Phantom Stranger, much of his immense magical potential is still locked.

    • Telekinesis: Andras is able to produce vast telekinetic effects through mystical means. A large portion of his power, this grants Andras the power to levitate objects up to 5 tonnes in strength, produce powerful pulling and pushing forces representing a power of up to 5 tonnes and also creating steadfast forcefields capable of withstanding forces up to 5 tonnes.

    • Magical Awareness: Andras is aware of the magical presence of others as well as magical spells and enchantments cast in the area. He is able to dispel weaker magics used against him by detecting and neutralising it with his own magic. Higher forms of magic, or magic which is already having a physical affect can not be dispelled however.

    • Shapeshifting: Andras is able to change his form providing it remains in that of a humanoid. This means he is able to change his physical appearance by mystical means, taking on that of anybody who he chooses. Not only does this mean he can convincingly fool others but he is also able to imitate their vocal qualities to create a convicing form. Despite this, he does not gain any of the powers his counterpart possesses and the physical powers copied are only appearance. This means if the opponent had retractable claws, Andras' would be made of a weak material easy to cut.

    • Density Decreasing: Andras is able to control his own physical density with the power of magic. By decreasing his density, Andras can become completely intangible, allowing him to pass through solid objects and energy alike for a maximum of 10 seconds at a time. When reducing his density to such a point as this, Andras can also make himself invisible. Because of his lack of density, photons are able to completely pass through his body, making it look like he is invisible. Whilst Andras can not increase his density, these two abilities can be used in conjunction or seperate.

    • Telepathy: Andras is able to utilise his mystical energies to produce telepathic effects. Firstly he can block the invasion of other telepaths. Able to read the minds of others for their thoughts, he can use this power to successfully access information kept secret from him. He can also project his thoughts into the minds of other. Andras has discovered that his telepathic abilities also extend further, allowing him to cast convincing mental illusions, send powerful offensive psi-bolts into his opponents minds and can even cause amnesia.

    • Elemental Sorcery:Andras can produce and manipulate a large number of elemental forces. Through his demon heritage, he has a strong control over both fire and hellfire, able to utilise both in and out of combat to great effect. He can control large gusts of wind and can even create tornadoes through his use of aerokinesis. He is also able to manipulate water, melding shapes from the element as well as controlling the push and pull of it. By using the mystical energy of the earth, Andras can control rocks, stones and minerals to literally change the structure or composition of the earth around him. Finally, Andras is able to utilise chlorokinesis to exact a level of control over plantlife, manipulating its growth and movements.

    • Weather Manipulation: Sometimes called "Atmokinesis", Weather Control is the term used to describe the ability to control patterns of weather. By extension, one can generate storms, dissipate storms and control very fundamental aspects of air and wind on a whim. Using this power, Andras can not only produce storms but can also call forth lightning from the sky and produce specific weather conditions such as strong rain or mist.

    • Teleportation: Andras is able to wrap his body in mystical energies in order to instantly move over a great distance. Moving in this way enables him to escape attack and transport him and his allies within seconds. This ability extends to one other person who must be in physical contact with Andras at the time. He is able to use this ability for up to 300 meters but can not travel over great distances.

    • Healing: Andras can use his mystical powers to produce a healing affect, enabling him to regenerate both his own wounds and those of his allies. Because this ability takes a level of concentration it is very hard to do in combat and is better saved for periods of recovery mid-mission.

Character Weaknesses:
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat: Andras is able to perform a number of mystical feats to impress his allies and foes alike. Despite this, he is physically inferior to most people at the academy and relies wholly upon his mystical feats. Able to competently dodge an incoming attack, he still possesses no hand to hand combat and is at the mercy of an expert when in close range.

  • Physical Appearance: Physically Andras is very unusual looking due to his red skin and demonic look. Whilst he can change his form, this expends his mystical energies and requires a level of unnecessary concentration. Because of his appearance, it can be hard for him to fit in with others and he also stands out in a crowd, being a give away to enemies on missions and a threatening looking diversion to the general public.
