Tweet Topic Started: Sep 14 2013, 10:22 AM (293 Views)
Illandra was born to Rosaline and Malcolm Birchwood, she had an older sister called Isla who was killed by her own father. Illandra grew to hate her abusive father for stealing hersister from her and grew to hate her mothers weak will. Determined to get her father down for at least something, Illandra took part in mass scale robberies and attempted to plant her fathers DNA on the scene; she was unsuccessful and was arrested. Her aunt and uncle bailed her out and promised they'd help her recover from her loss in a more relaxed atmosphere. Her uncle entrusted her with an expensive amulet that he had found on a dig site. Through adoration for the gift, she researched the amulet - discovering she could access a great power by shouting out "I Am Isis" while it was in her possession. Her aunt and uncle were thrilled for her and put her on the waiting list for the academy of Justice so she may turn her life around. There, Illandra worked hard for justice so her sisters death wouldn't be in vain. She met her closest friends Evelina Bertinelli and John Grayson, developing a particularly special relationship with John, whom most knew at the time to be "Robin" and later "Nightwing". Before long both herself and Nightwing were promoted to the Justice League and entered a stable relationship. After a few off moments, John Grayson proposed to Illandra on graduation day and they married a year later. Illandra has since given birth to her child Isla Grayson and taken her husbands child, Luthor Al-Ghul under her arm aswell. She has also recently adopted Amy Nadeau, also knows as Artemis, whom she adopted after the death of the girls father, who was a good friend of Illandra's at the time. She has become the headmistress at Justice Academy within Mount Justice and is one of the most powerful female heroes to have existed. Illandra recently lost her husband John in accident, due to the miscalculation through dimensional travel. Though she is hiding this from the world, she has personally declared herself a widow. Illandra is also the nonbiological sister of the famous Harry Graftford or Shazam, whom she holds dear to her.
